25" x 25" x 7.75". I purchased from Ronco Plastics in Tustin, CA. Part number is

$26 B-211 Automatic Transmission Filter Kit

B-211 and I ordered the H.D. That makes the plastic 5/16" thick. Holds 18 gallons. I got a fitting kit so I could place my supply, fill, drain and vent. I have a clean out too by I did not install it. I figured I be able to maintain the tank with washing out and treatment.

I did cut the tire holder tabs at the frame cross-over before fitting tank. It looked like they were going to interfere. Great fit otherwise. Bolt heads for the bottom brackets sit just about level with the bottom of my hitch.

Went from #badscab to this. Not bad for lack of booth proper compressor etc. That dent is not being pulled out.

 

Trail mishap? Story.

 

Not much of a story. Got this when my father passed. He had bought it and planned to do some fixing up etc. He was always in garages body shops etc that kinda guy. There was previous work done on it poorly and it resulted in a nasty rust scab on the access cab door. I have more details and pics in the 2nd gen taco forum.

I never did a ton of body work and garage stuff with him but learned a bit here and there and decided to this in true to the old man style. Ground out the rust hit it with rust neutralizer. Filled it sanded it etc. Took a ton of extra filler etc out and feathered it out. Then did duplicolor Color match bombs and clear .

 

Maybe eventually I'll have it professionally cleaned up painted etc but for now I'm content to just drive it and enjoy it.

 

Enjoy it how it is. Some of my fav trucks are those home fixed ones. Professional painted trucks look more like mall queens to me.
