So i have been having this loud humming sound coming from my left front tire. Everything had been driving fine and what not. But i want to sell it so i started to dig around and ask questions at the local auto part stores about the problem. come to find out it is a bad wheel bearing. the good thing about being stationed in the coast guard is all the tools and people that can help you out. so i bought the bearing and figured i could fix it after reading a few posts of other doing it. let me tell you it took 4 hours to change. When i pulled the bearing off the spine there was so much dirt and crap. Plus the bearing smelled so burned. when I had to pull apart the press parts i had to rig some crazy stuff. but after i put it back together and test drove it i was so HAPPY, there was no loud humming sound coming from the front. so that is what i did today.

 

I built this! the factory center console fits over it.

It's a super right fit I had to cut some of the cab to make it fit.

 

So I measured the opening in the switch blank yesterday... I believe it was 13/16 x 1 7/16.

I may have do this soon i think. I may have a bad wheel bearing. Was noticeable when cruising or just going slow? Could you hear and feel it when you spun the tire? Thanks!

put on a volant intake i found on cracklist. i had to jimmy rig it a little bit since it was missing hoses for the vacuums(ended up cutting the stock hose). no CEL's ........ yet. but im happy with it so far.

 

Yes the fiberglass is drying right now. carpet the box and install tomorrow.

Installed Rockford Fosgate 10" P3S and Kenwood KAC-7205 amp. Just hooked it up to the stock radio for now, but with adjustments it has definitely improved the sound of the OEM system. Actually has some low-end now.

 

Nice. It's such a difference between the stock speakers. I laughed at how puny the stock magnets were.

 

Yeah, I laughed at them when I got them out, its surprising they actually work as much as they did..
