Installed my Firestone Ride-rite kit. It was time consuming but I am happy with the results. No more saggy ass.

I mounted the fill valves to the trailer harness mount. I didn't feel like drilling the bumper.

Changed the oil...with Mobile-1 and a YZZD3 filter, as I have every 5K miles since new.

    only f-up was...

I dropped a plastic water bottle I wedge in under the filter catch basin...it went into the bottom of the fan shroud...

I had to remove the skid plate to get to it...

    but all is well.

and I now realize why you guys that do serious off-roading replace the factory tin can skid plate with one of more serious nature. damn...dat thing must be near beer can gauge.

And your grill mod looks great. The '10 grill looks good on my Pyrite Mica and other colors, but on the red...the black looks better. IMO

More info on this please. Is that a Wet Okole, JP Coachworks, or custom? I'm looking at adding something like this to my center console. I wonder if Wet Okole would sell just the center console cover. I should call and ask.

Very true. For the magnet size, they where ok.

custom, put on microsuede fabric. took me a while to figure out how to get it on so it doesn't crinkle all over the edges. I think there's a Wet Okole cover, saw both versions, one that was custom covered and one that had some elastic band (sp - proper terminology) on it which fit over the console cover but imo the custom ones look so much better than the ones that you just put over it.

planning on covering the rest of the center console and a couple of other panels along with my headliner with microsuede, as of now this is just a tester to see how long the contact cement I put on (it's made by DAP - it's not the product I am testing, it's the amount of the product I used) holds up long enough before it comes off. All and all though I am happy with how it came out (did a smaller tester run with 2 pieces of mdf pieces, left them overnight and the cement is ON THERE lol).

Well it looks good. I think the Wet Okole's have the elastic band which I'm not a fan of.

x2, when I saw the elastic version, it didn't really look snug when the cover was closed. It was even worse when you opened it imo. You can see the band going across and such... #smh ugly. With the custom one, when you open it up, you don't see a band going across, and the actual material looks like it came that way.

here goes my post in the DIY arm rest thread (doing the arm rests next - side note, 1 yd of fabric is enough to do the center console, arm rests and still have plenty enough to maybe do the glove box, side pillars (fronts), etc. if you wanted to).
