Added not ONE, but TWO d-rings to my bed! Mocked up my spare tire setup. I’m using my heavy duty bottle jack to prop the wheel up at an angle, prerunner style and leaving more room for other crap in the bed. Will make a thread once I’m all done because this is actually turning out great! Ran out of time to finish so I just flat mounted the spare for now.

And my toddler was COMPLETELY USELESS. I had to use a bag of salt to hold the top wrench down while tightening the underside of the new D ring bolts.

Finished installing the BeeBT-22 blue ray adaptor and setting it up. Works fine with my phone can all access Siri with the OEM steering wheel switches I added a few months ago planning on adding an after market Touch Screen Rdio. Plans changed with addition of 3 teenage grandkids to the house. The OEM radio is fine has Sirius and now blue tooth phone. Was planning on checking out more fully the 09 Venza my sister gave us for hauling kids. That’s been put off as her Mini Cooper Clubman decided to cause problems, so spent the after diagnosing the problem used BMW/Mini app on my iPad and OBDII WiFi adaptor to down load all the codes, was kind of over whelemed with all the info. Replace on relay and then because it was missing switch the Colin to a diffent plug, it’s the coil. As it is close to plug replacement mileage ordered a plug and coil kit for it and a damn special plug socket, another special tool. Toyotas are much easier to diagnose and repair than that thing cheaper also. Told my wife she bought it you fix it. That didn’t go over to good. Fun car to drive but a PETA otherwise.

I replaced my shifter light bulb. Thanks @boogie3478 for the video and finding a bulb that fits. I used the cool white color.

What is a shift light? I must have one of the better tacomas because i dont need a light telling what gear it is in. But nice mod.

Noticed a wobble coming from the back end after I got above 50mph to and from work today. Got home and investigated...

Please don’t judge the current shape of my rims...

Frozen snow on about 1/3 of the inside of the driver’s side rear rim. Knocked it off with a hammer, hope the wobble’s gone tomorrow!

Happens to me all the time. A trip to the self serve car wash to power wash it out works.

Perfect way to utilize the outlet in the bed! The lightbar also came in handy ;p

Nice, but that bottle jack is going to wreck that rim if you don't pad those corners.

    Of
course! I am aware! Thanks for looking out though. I would never leave Metal on Metal contact like that even for daily driving on road. This was the mock-up, my plan is to add a strap over the top of the jack which is padded at least at the top
