I use a zip tie to keep mine up and out of the way. It's a very mini theft deterrent too.

That's a good idea. I don't mind keeping it under the rear seats though. I don't use the shackle and rope frequently *knock on wood*

I'm thinking about trading our 2013 Corvette Grand Sport for a a Camry XSE V6 Wind Chill Pearl / Midnight Black with Cockpit Red Interior. The Camry XSE V6 with 301HP are sharp peppy cars.

Yeah i've only got a 48" so my stiffeners are a non issue. But having a small press brake to make stuff like this is awesome... don't know how i've gone so long without one. but these ones are only 2.5" to the side but i'm also mounting them on the passenger side with the ratchet mechanism out towards the bed.

I got a 2017 Camry as a loaner while me wife's Honda was in for repair. Great suspension and a very peppy engine, but the noise at highway speed was terrible. I though the Taco was loud, but you couldn't have a conversation when going above 65mph. Not sure why, since the car looks like it should be well insulated. I highly suggest a long test drive on the highway before you make a decision.
Though, I did love the sporty ride, I was happy to get the Honda back.

Coming from a Vette not a great comparison vehicle for noise values at highway speeds.

Nice! My ATH stiffeners came in today. Now I need to decide if I want to cut my bedrug to make it fit or remove it
