Satoshi grille, All-pro bumper, Allpro UCA's, Walker Evans coilovers, 10" Lightforce Blitz, PIAA 510's,Magnaflow cat-back, K&N CAI, Revtec rear blocks. TSB leafs, Firestone Ride-Rite air springs, Hopkins Agility brake controller.
Pulled 5500 lbs of travel trailer and gear over 900 kms/ 600 mi. on BC mountain roads. 140,000 plus kms, and she didn't even break a sweat. No helper air springs, just the factory towing package. Longest hill pulled 3rd gear @ around 3000 rpm @ 60 KPH. Could maintain 90 to a 100 KPH for the most part at partial throttle, no need to abuse her! Fell in love with my Tacoma yet again!

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
Got 25 mpg once with the old Dunlops. Now getting about 21 consistently with new rubber.

Many will do at least a slight angle... IMO it depends on your goal: for rock protection, angle up. to be a functional step, keep flatter.

I installed mine at 17 degrees...makes em not so useful as a step. You can buy an angle finder at Harbor Freight for $5.

NOTE: watch the pinch weld. keep at least 1/2" clear. this is most difficult on the rear legs. check out this thread:
