What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I have had them for 3 years, the same ones I believe. Very happy with them. The lug nuts have rusted this winter other than that I’m happy with them. Wrapped in 285/75/16

My ‘09 currently has 302,000+ so I think if you just maintain them you’ll get a lot out of them.

Do you have a list of bulbs you got and where you got them?

 

Can’t confirm right now, but mine are the trd trail team knock offs. Got them off eBay it was a pack of five rims. The rims are the same dimensions as the ones that come on that particular FJ cruiser model. No idea of the weight.

The ones you posted aren’t the official Toyota wheels, they are the “Trail Team style”.

I have the Toyota Trail Team and they are a pretty heavy wheel, maybe 28-30 lbs per.

 

Added a digital speedometer to my truck. I got a OBD2 bluetooth reader and used the Torque lite app on an only cell phone.

 

Thanks. Same product but I ordered I t from China eBay since it was a dollar shipped. Didn’t wanna waste 10$ on something just incase it didn’t work.

I had to use 2 layers on the Ultragauge to get it the right color. One layer was too pink.

It’s all custom. The T4 led bulbs you can plug and play suck, so I took them and tweaked them to fit and light better.

You have turn the leds 90* in the holders so they shine towards the face of the switches not the sides.

The hvac is 100% custom, the leds are soldered straight to the board and adjusted to shine accordingly. I had to add 1 white led to light the cold side of the temp dial.

I’ll post a few pics for you later tonight when I get time.

Does this get in the way of your leg? I have a magnet mount for my Glock up under the dash but this would be better with a holster
