    Yep.
How's that work with the key in the ignition and the door open? Or ignition off, lights on?

    I personally don't want a beep, ever.

*apparently my sarcasm was missed . No buzzer = no beep

in my 2009 the steps were:
    1) make sure the odo/tripa/tripb is set to odo
    2) turn ignition off
    3) turn ignition to on (but dont start)
3a) make sure you dont touch the brakes or anything (not sure what this does/if needed, but thats what i read and so tahts what i've done)
3b) as soon as you turn ignition to on, press and hold the trip reset button for ~12 seconds
    4) after ~12 seconds, fasten seat belt (still holding button)
4a) odo readout should now say "b-on"
    5) release trip reset button, then press once
5a) odo readout should now say "b-off"
    6) turn key back to off
    7) profit

edit: it will still beep when you turn the truck on and seatbelt isnt fastened, but that goes away after a few sec and doesnt return.

It is available for purchase, but my boy Dave has it, therefore no need for me to add to expenditures. So, I'll find out where he bought it from. You can alter a variety of features on your vehicle with it by the simple click of a mouse. It's quite awesome. Check back soon and I'll have information.

It's simple. A quick overview of Toyota Tacoma electrical schematics will outline a solid road map for your programming needs. Once you hook the leads of either a fluke 787 or 789 with optional analog sourcing to the appropriate fuses on your truck, you're 25% of the way there. Then, with the use of a simple serial (RS-232 or 485) signal converter to USB into a configurable port in your laptop will open a world of options. Upon boot-up, hold the SHIFT and F12 key down to enter your computer BIOS. After which you select the relevant baud rate for the port you've plugged your converter cable into. Now, boot up your computer into Windows and open the Toyota software. A list of features found on your Tacoma will be populated into the subsequent list on the right hand view. Now, with proper documentation at your side, you only need to adjust the sensor values on your Tacoma to fit your specific needs. Make sure not to go out of range on those sensors though. Gremlins are a real threat to the overall health of your vehicle. A good warm up to understand the proper lingo and semantics can be found in the following Youtube video:

So at what sequence in the electromagduction phase do I add voltage to the flux capacitor?

You have to be sure the duodonkulator valves have all been closed and the electromagduction complete indicator light has lit green before applying any voltage to the FC.

Got the tekonsha P3 brake controller installed last night in preparation for the new trailer brakes I just bought. During the install I also found the issue with my locker switch so I went ahead and fixed that too. Locker and brake controller ready for action!!

Threw a tape measure across one of my Wildpeakes and found out why I thought they looked smaller than I had thought they would. It's because they are. 265/75/16, but they only measure about 31".
