I haven’t a clue, I don’t really care about the legality of it since my truck isn’t my DD. I figure worst case I’ll get a ticket, and move on with my life. Maybe a fix it ticket.

If he measured them on the truck most definitely. The deflection of the sidewall from the weight of the truck would probably be at least .6"

Measuring your tires with a tape measure is very inaccurate at any point. Too many variables (air pressure, the crown of the tread, rim width, etc.)

Hence why manufacturers list those specs when giving the OD. But what do I know, only been in the tire business almost 15 years lol

Thus is why I am thinking about moving my antenna to the front bumper. Limb deflector and if I can make it the same height as the camper a clearance checker. I never have figured out why they would make the cables illegal it just doesn’t make sense

It's probably a pedestrian safety thing? Maybe they're worried you'll decapitate someone when they roll off your hood :notsure:

Nothing sexy or pic worthy, but I put some fresh blobs of Dielectric grease on the electrical connections under the hood.

It's the same software that dealerships use. I've used it personally and it has alot features that allow you to alter your vehicle in a variety of manners. It's quite simple to use and you don't have to 'be good at software,' as @Mugshot89 so elegantly put. Yes, it will turn off the seat belt chime, but it does alot more and you can run diagnostics on your vehicle.

I have. Yes. I can drive ALL AROUND town without my seatbelt on, CHIME FREE.

side note: I always wear my seatbelt. I'm terrified not to.
