Bought it from a guy in 2013 for $40. 3” tube, came off a 1996 Tacoma. Bit of a squeeze to fit and if I actually rolled my truck it would punch a hole through the bed haha!

Originally put lights on it but I didn’t like the way it looked so far back on a double cab, but didn’t want to get rid of it because I like the look.

I'm surprised nobody pointed out my parking job. The puddle was like 6" deep and didn't feel like driving another 2 hours with soggy feet so parked like a total asshole.

Also, why does EVERYBODY get my damn name wrong? I don't mind being addressed by my last name but how hard is it to figure out nobody has the last name "Andy"... Sheesh!

I have the same problem. I even asked about it before I bought it and was assured that "nothing rubs". How much did you have to cut?

Thanks, just wanted feedback on what you felt.

I've got aftermarket coils with 650 springs. I've ridden around town without the bar to see if I felt anything. Maybe the roads here are that good and I drive it like a truck, but I didn't notice much. I was under the impression it was going to be a drastic change.

It does help off road but I usually am loaded out with camping gear and a dirt bike on the hitch, so I take it mellow.

What was the temp like when you tried to install? Did you let the fabric sit in the sun for a bit?

I've had a bestop for about 7 years now, so it's loosened quite a bit. I still do not try to zip it up if it's below 40 out. The material contracts a lot when it's cold, especially before its broken in.

Little to no change with the LED's I put in there. I took both pictures in the morning, one was yesterday and the other this morning (I have to be at work at 6, that's why it's so early). The first picture is with stock bulbs.

Looks brighter to me. I find the LEDs to improve the view when actually looking backwards and not using the reverse cam anyways.

    No

Very nice! Curious to see how the SPC alignment cams hold up since according to most of TW they round out easy lol I'm sure they will be fine, maxed out the camber I see!

On the day to day, there is no discernible difference. Only time I notice is when I dramatically turn into my apt complex.

Not too much. I lopped off the corners with a grinder with a thin blade. Then test fit and trimmed some more if needed. Then I touched up the exposed bare metal.

nothing too crazy, just did a preventative mod to prevent a future hard-to-find-clunk like @Barhopper went through. Double brake pad spring mod. Just the springs, didn't bother with guide pins or pads.

Yessir, I’m a little worried as well because I’ve also read the same and they definitely are not as robust as stock. Some good, some bad, but I could never find anything super definitive so I decided what the heck, I’ll be a guinea pig.

Yep, full caster and I told the shop to give me a bunch for fear of rubbing, I think their alignment guy did an amazing job. It drives great currently but there’s always hammering to be done

I clipped a dog (saw it scurry off) going down a hill in TN with a 5k boat in tow. Didn't even think about swerving. Sucks but it was the only choice!
