Medium Window Tint, Tailgate hose clamp, Hella Triple Air Horns, Mobil 1 0w20, Weathertech Mats, Wet Okole's, Red Line MT90 in trans/transfer case, Red Line 75w85 in diffs.
Today I switched over to Red Line MT-90 in the trans (5-speed) and transfer case...an instant improvement! It took away the 'notchy' feeling and reduced the gear noise...much quieter on the freeway. I highly recommend. Tomorrow I am doing the differentials with Red Line 75w-85.

    Hi all.

1 - I put some black aluminum window screen behind the grill openings with small black zip ties. No drilling and hidden unless you get close and look through the openings.
    - I don't like the look of grill covers.
    - Grill covers won't be available for some time for my '12 anyway.
    - My condenser, rad, and tranny rad are protected from bugs and small rocks.
    - Any work needed, including removing the grill won't require the screen to be removed.
I added screens to all of my vehicles and bikes over the years and the rad fins looked like new after years of driving.

2 - I made a GPS holder using a travel mug. It took some grinding to make the stick-on plastic disk fit into the mug lid but took less than an hour.
    - I couldn't bring myself to stick the permanent disk somewhere on my dash.
    - I don't like the idea of making another blind spot on my windshield, the rear view mirror is already enough.
    - I didn't like the idea of attaching it to the rear view as seen on another thread for the same reason as above.
I found a mug (Thermos brand - with a screw on lid) that fits snugly in the drivers side front cup holder (auto trans here) so the charger holes are still accessible. With an elastic band around the mug about an inch from the bottom and a couple inches of pennies in the mug for weight, it is solid in the cup holder. I snapped the mug lid hole cap off leaving a flat surface for the stick-on disk that came with the GPS. After grinding the disk to fit I stuck it on the lid and attached the GPS holder to the disk with the suction cup.
This solution leaves no blind spots and is completely removable leaving no marks or permanents disk stuck somewhere on the dash.

    Cheers
    Ray.
