Have you also done the Frame reinforcement? and I would maybe suck that tire in some.

not yet. thats happening next week after i get some more metal.

the tire is going to come in about 2-3 inches as well. My friend measured wrong and so i agree, it is a bit far out. we have to cut 2" out of the bar that the tire is on and just reweld it.

I vacuumed most, OK some, of the dog hair out of my back seat and cleaned up the inside a bit. It was getting pretty gross.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
changed cabin air filter. wow! i cannot believe how much crud was in it. just changed it approx. 6 months ago. can't imagine what the ducts & interior would look like without a filter.

Friday was a day to spend $$$....1st renew my CDL ,temporary license for 60 days ,wtf?? NH now sends your permanent thru the mail???
Get the taco inspected, tech comes out and says it FAILED;frame rot:rolleyes:....
Service writer gets all :confused:..then the tech tells him my "re-frame" was done by him:D:D...Did need a plate bulb to pass ..but she is legal for another year....
Now the real "HIT"..$$$ town office to re-register it...plus had to grab extra 7 stickers....someone needed them more than me???? My month stickers were peeled off the corners of my plates.....Thats desperate ,I don't care who you are...;)

No extras this month,$ 400+ spent to keep it & myself legal :cool:

Only thing missing now is the toolbox and a "Tacomaworld " sticker..;)

    STLharry,

No.the frame is fine/NEW....My dealership has 2 different shops, their Toyota/Ford garage behind their sales room and a "Quick Lube" next door( where I got my sticker)..The "Techs" are ALL Toy/Ford quailified BUT some of the "Masters" are trainers with double bays....My Taco was re-framed in his back bay and the front bay is used for light work...
the "Quick-lube" service writer was the one we "GOT";);)

Sorry for the misunderstanding, the "tech" was just having fun and I played along perfectly....

You need to tell me where you venture with your Taco,I'm next door and if we don't get too crazy...maybe do a "Yankee Toyo Meet"...either side of the "River";)......there are areas along VT 4 around Quechee that my Bronco2 ventured, the Taco could easily handle...:cool:

    Snoope back quiet

Got 20% put on the windows today for a teener and a six pack. When some dumbass in a ford payed 250+ to get his truck tinted. It does help when you know the install techs.

New Pioneer stereo, and all 4 speakers with Infinity components. Sirius satellite radio. Deckplate mod done. Door buzzer silenced forever thank God, tinted windows, vent visors, hood protector(bug guard), ceramic pads and new rotors, dechromed EVERYTHING. 2" Lift front 3" rear. Skyjacker AAL's and replacement leafs(and front spacers) from Fatbobsgarage.com. Skyjacker 7000 Hydro rear shocks, those Bilstein 5100 fronts are coming soon!
Ordered my skyjacker rear shocks since I have about 1-1/2 inches of travel in the crappy monroes I put in before I lifted the ass end... Ya, no offroading for me right now, those puppies are maxed out!

Replaced some old vacuum lines. Removed a Leatherman multitool my brother in law lost a couple years ago between the frame and the PS rack... Ya, found that today when I was looking for what is making some vibration in my steering wheel. It ended up being I have play in my rack at the end right before my inner tie.

Armored my dash and cleaned the interior.

    Waxing tomorrow.

ohhhhhh ok. i wish i could just get a new frame instead of the possibility of getting the stupid recall.

And i dont know of many places here in the champlain valley right now, there is one in milton of VT Rt 2 and a camp in barre that my friend owns (tons and tons of acres with logging trails!), but my friend just bought his 2nd land cruiser (60 series, the first rusted out) and he is in the middle of doing a spring over lift so no off roading at the camp until thats done.

but do you know of any places?
