    ^^ Self quote, update....

    Not just today, but the past 3 days..........

    Tuesday - Changed the rear diff fluid and transfer case fluid.

    Wednesay - Changed front diff fluid....damn that's a pain in the ass. Next time, I'll have a funnel and a hose ready to fill from top side.

    Today - Changed the spark plugs. Drivers side first...get it outta the way. I thought the first one was going to bind up after I broke it loose, but I just kept goin...SLOOOOOOWWWWWWWLLLLYYYY, and it finally got easier and easier and came right out. All 6 were about the same, come to find out.

    I have one question about the spark plug job.......why in the HELL can't there be an air box on the driver side too? :) . Left side, easy....driver side, pain in the ass...hoses and brackets and SHIT....hands scratched to hell.

    Anyhow, it's done. Saturday is brakes for sure and wheel bearings unless they are just dead quiet and zero play. If they are, then I'll save the set I have for another 50,000 (or whatever they last).

    I didn't get the pictures yet, but I will.

    Thanks for listening.....again :cheers::cheers:

    Picked up this bad boy chunk of steel. Not a moment too soon either, because I had some nice scratches on the BACK diff cover. Too hard of a hit there are your day is done. Gonna have my go to guy Joe (GMG fab) burn it on and replace my Carrier bearing while the truck is there.

    It wasn’t that bad. Maybe 4 hours total, from removal, to two layers of sound deadener, to reinstall. It made a big difference for me with my front runner roof rack. It was worth it for sure.

    I followed these instructions.

    Lol, socket extension's help alot on spark plugs :) Also, if they are kinda bound up, instead of putting a slow steady bind on it, I find it works better to use little quick turns to break it free. Couple tips to help keep some skin on those knuckles :)

    If your doing all 4 wheel bearings... Fronts are pretty easy, you can do at home with hand tools. Rear... better have a good buddy with shop, a press and SST tool :)

    LOL, extensions definitely helped. The skinned knuckles came from trying to unclip the electrical connectors on the driver's side and/or trying to wiggle out the coil pack.. Couple screwdrivers helps, but sometimes ya just gotta squeeze your (my) big fat hand in there and grab it and pull. Next time I may try disconnecting some of the hoses and see how far I can get. This time around I was just going for it.

    Doing just the fronts for now. Rear end will be......................I dunno when, but sure as hell not now lol.
