Finally pulled the trigger on some bolt on sliders. Avid sliders w/kickout and mounted at 15 degrees vs the typical 10-12. Just need to pull them off and paint them.

The ARB bumper does not have recovery points built in. I've read that it's because of the airbag sensors, but I don't know for sure. It makes one wonder because there's a 9,500 pound winch bolted to the bumper! This ARB recovery point replaces the factory hook and mounts directly to the chassis. There's a hole to fasten a D shackle rather than a hook. If I really need it on the trail, I want to have the right equipment.

On my previous setup I had the Bulletproof Fabrication recovery point which mounts similarly. Problem would be if you’re buried in mud/snow/sand or worse, water, it’s a bit of a hassle to get down to it.

I was going to crack the bolts free with the diff still on the truck, and do full removal on the work bench. That way I don’t need to try and hold the diff from moving around. ECGS recommends this in their instructions.

X2-I plan on keeping my 05' until it implodes, and then replace everything! Just stay ahead of the rust.

Don't need a trailor. I can drop and pick her up in about 5 minutes each. Complete with winch. Sticks out 7.5 feet past tailgate. Still drives and handles great. Your welcome tacoma world...your welcome!20190704_105346.jpg 20190704_105358.jpg 20190704_105407.jpg

Looking better already thanks to @PyritePirateBill and the Color Matched Grill hookup
Pulled her apart a little to see what metal had been damaged, just a few bends....pulled it back into place for the time being, will order new supports and clips for a couple things. Still gotta find an OEM driver side headlight for a 2.5 gen if anyone has one laying around!
