I did this to my truck, makes a world of a difference when its dark and my softopper is up. Also the hole drilled for wire hiding makes it look clean as hell and it made mine way easier to route to the cab grommets to run into the cab for the switch.

 

They will fit, might rub a little. Front mud flaps will for sure have to go.

Just cut whatever it rubs.

I joined the club.

 

There on now! Only rubbing I can tell is a full turn while backing up. Other than that and picking up all the gravel they seem to work just right. I even still have my mud flaps on. I will post a picture in a few minutes. Gotta clean them and shine them before they are picture worthy.

Garmin Overlander finally shipped so I slapped it in. Love the magnetic powered mount. Logged into my Explore account and everything synced up nicely. Paired to the InReach quick. Love the inclinometer built in for easily finding level when finding a flat spot to set up the RTT. Using the Ram mount option, it rests nice on the top of the Kenwood so theres no vibration like with the Matellan TRX7. Lots of built in maps, wireless backup camera control, voice commands, bluetooth calling, tracking, and of course nav features not in handhelds or phone apps.

And theres a truck icon for the location arrow
