Finished up a few small things for my front-end conversion - transferred the bumpers on the hood, tucked the fog light connectors out of the way until I can get them finished, and connected the wheel liner to the fender. Also replaced my wiper blades since I had some time to kill.

Final pictures of the completed job:

Took my little girls to a big parking lot for bike riding lessons. Older girl is starting to get it and my younger one she’s learning to pedal..lol

Some generic lightbar that was already on the bumper when I traded for it. The amber squares are just covers that clip on.

i have about 20 miles on it. I've also got 285s. I like how mild of a change it is. didn't want high revs on the freeway.

The best way to learn is have their mom stand at one end of the parking lot that is down hill from your child.
Let them ride to their mom. They focus on getting to her and not riding the bike. The downhill grade makes
it easier to coast too. This way they don't have to pedal so hard. Works like a charm all the time. I pretty
much use this method to teach all the kids in the neighborhood. :bikewheelie2:

TURNING THE TRUCK “BEEP” ON/OFF WHENLOCKING/UNLOCKING DOORS

Toyota calls the beeping an "answer-back" function. It's new for 2009 on the Tacoma; other Toyota models have had it for a long time.

Here's how you toggle the answer-back beep off and on for the factory keyless entry (not Toyota's VIP alarm add-ons) on 2009+ Tacomamodels:

    1. Open the driver's door, and leave it open

    2. Insert the key into the ignition.

    3. Remove the key from the ignition, and within 5 seconds, re-insert the key and then turn the ignition to ON.

    4. Wait at least 10 seconds, but less than 20 seconds.
After waiting, press a button on the remote twice(Press the same button two times - don't press two different buttons. The system will acknowledge with a beep if you did it right).

Toyota's instructions for this sort of thing are very literal and must be followed EXACTLY. It's helpful to use the flashing ":" symbol in the clock to count the seconds in step 3.

If you disconnect the battery, the setting will return to the factory default setting of ON.

Thanks. I previously had the Rhino Rack that clamped onto the door jambs, but I wanted something adjustable. Drilling holes in the roof was daunting, but the butyl pads over each hole as well as marine grade silicone should prevent any leaks.
