I always put a lil oil on the gasket then tighten hand tight at a quick turn 1/4-1/2 turn w/ oil wrench.

Changed out the roaring front wheel bearings, upgraded from some Mickey Thompsons to the Cooper ST Maxx both in 265/75/16. Old tires were wearing bad/cupping so between new bearings and new tires the ride is so much quieter.

No. This was for the tire rotation.

My truck is tall enough on 315s I don’t lift it for oil changes.

No pics but I replaced the clock spring in the steering wheel this morning.

Yay I have a horn again for all the wonderful LA traffic.

Had my frame inspected for the rust “recall” or whatever they call it. No holes, but they say I have “medium” rust. Have one more winter left before the program expires. What sucks is they no longer offer the rust inhibitor service. Stupid CA law. How is rust safer? Anything you folks can suggest I can do to treat the frame (as much as I can reach anyway)?

Spray salt water on it and pray it goes from "medium" to "fail" within the next year. In my humble opinion, "medium" is bullshit. Translated it means, "In time the frame will fail and we hope it lasts more than one more year". By the way, the rust inhibitor service didn't work and doesn't work. Just a public relations ploy for Toyota to sell their customers on the idea they were doing "something" to fix the problem.
