Exactly I came from LEDs in stock housings and spot fogs that I ran 24/7. Needless to say this change is awesome. Minus the 800 bucks its cost total lol

Just the regular old fluid film from Napa. My frame looks like it is brand new. Id knock off any loose stuff before coating it.

Hey all. New here and just purchased a 14 taco 4x4 off road. Looking forward to seeing everyone’s builds. First thing I want to do is maybe add a ditch bracket mounting(low profile Cali raised) with some high quality led light pods. Found a article that reviews some led light systems (Www.dailydriven4x4.com)and was leaning towards the rigid Industries. Anyone have any suggestions?

Welcome. Seems like most would agree that rigid or baja designs are the best out there for lighting

Who needs fancy mounting plates and pins? Some stainless lifting eyes, stainless 1/4" carriage bolts, and some paracord cam straps work just fine for now.

You’re lucky you live is WA and not the Midwest or NE. I think fluid film only can do so much when it’s this damn salty all winter out here :frusty:

Hell I fit the safejack bottle jack, my whole kit, and the factory screw jack in the factory jack cubby (in my access cab, don’t know if the cubby is different for the other cabs)8A43B9D8-2E40-4AB1-9FA3-E1AE8F6ADF0B.jpg

When I bought my Truck about a month ago now the steps where rusty and the original coating was flaking off. I had a buddy of my sandblast them and I primed them and finally I used Raptor liner to re-spray them with. I finally got them reinstalled this weekend and I think the end result turned out great.

Is an extended rear brake line necessary for an 08 soon to be getting a 2" lift? Only thing left Im not too sure about. My first gen didnt 'need' one, but it looked really stretched at full droop so I put one on anyways.

If you are not increasing your down travel then no.

If you are increasing your down travel then maybe depending on how much increase.

They're pretty easy to install later, its not like a "while you're at it, you might as well" situation. If you end up needing it, you can just do it later.
