What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Nice! I have a camera that I want to mount on the front. I just haven't figured out how yet, and I want it angled more downward. I want to see the front of the ARB bumper so that I don't hit cars in front (I barely tapped one once...no damage, but still...) and to help pick lines when on trails.

The bed liner finally dried and I got around to picking up the last of the hardware to mount my home built removable bed rack. RTT should be delivered by end of next week. For strength reference I used 1x2 1/8" rectangle steel and I weigh 200lbs, The cross bars did not flex one bit.

 

Ill give you $80 for them.

Thanks!! Finish welding the legs made them shift about an 1/16th of an inch so they take a little muscling to get into the mounts but I am very happy with how it turned out. In hindsight I should have finish welded the legs to the rack with them still bolted in the side rails so they were less likely to move but I got too excited.

 

Chances are the heat would have still pulled it some

 

New leaf springs installed today by Toyota. It cost me $0.00 since my truck was under the recall. Rides a lot better now.

Used my BPF shackle mount for the first time and straps to snap and clear 1/4 mile of dead fall, took a while but it was fun the last 100 feet whoa hoo

 

You planning on going bigger tires? I never rubbed the cab mount with my 35’s (with a cmc) and will barely rub with recent clearancing for the 37’s. Only place I rubbed with 35’s was inner fender well and...well they’re gone now.
