Had the taco aligned after having the TC Cam Tabs welded on last weekend.

    0* toe
    0* camber
    1.9*DS / 1.7* PS caster
    0* steer ahead.

It drives perfect with no rubbing at full lock.

And, my steering wheel is finally straight. For someone who is OCD, I can’t begin to tell you what a relief that is.

Stuck a couple pieces of 2x6 in the storage compartment for little extra height when jacking it up. Probably my cheapest mod ever.

You have me thinking about this now. I was kind of aware how loud mine are, but now I am ultra aware. Mind sharing where you got your new pulleys from?

Did my whole rr axle this summer - diff gasket, wheel bearings, axle seals, wheel cylinders, shoes, hardware and drums. Painted drums with caliper spray paint after cleaning off the packing grease. Figured I can do pinion seal by just dropping the drive shaft whenever it becomes necessary. I'm at 190000 and original shoes still had half the thickness of the new ones left.

Yeah, I did all the pulleys when I did water pump a couple of yrs ago......weren't quite noisy yet but they were free spinning enough to just do them while stuff was apart. Glad I did.

New clutch about a month ago, just installed new rotors/pads today. Suspension upgrades, new windshield and tires are next on the list. I'm hoping to get another 300K more out of this truck!

Well, 297,XXX. Close enough though. It needs some major overhaul before I put it on the trails again. The most expensive parts (clutch kit) are out of the way now!

How much fun was clutch? I'm starting to hear my throwout bearing sounding like time could be near. Not fearing job, just being able to drop gearbox by myself. Did you use trans jack? Wonder if autozone rents those.............

I got it done at a transmission shop, I'm dumb when it comes to stuff like that. It's nice to leave the truck in neutral now, without hearing those crickets chirping. It's silent as a fart now...

Mine's the 5spd......starting to barely hear light gravel when idling and letting clutch out in neutral. No slipping clutch or anything like that but when it's time I'll do rr main seal, TO bearing, pilot bearing, disc, pr plate & probably tailshaft seal on gearbox. Whatever one on top for shifter too.

The same shit everyone else has.
Replaced inboard driver side CV boot. Did the boot slide mod to it before putting it back together.
