I purchased my Taco used and the previous owner had done all the suspension mods: 2.5 Icons with 700# springs, Total Chaos UCA's and rear OME Dakar HD's with 2.0 Icons with reservoirs. The problem is, the truck rode really stiff and had too much lift in the rear (2.75"). My plan...

Modified the OME Dakar leaf packs: Removed one leaf (third down from the top) and the larger overload spring. The goal was to reduce the rear lift, which I did (1 inch lower) and a reduction in the spring rate. The initial evaluation is, the ride will be much better. I'm reducing the front coilover preload this morning.

Hang out on Bobistheoilguy site and you'll quickly find out that the Fram Ultra is considered the best filter you can buy. I use either the Ultra or a Mobil1...whichever is on sale. That pic above was from earlier in the summer. I'm currently running the M1 thanks to a $17 rebate.

Perhaps this will untrigger you. :D

Installed the Desert Does It seat risers. Haven’t even driven it yet but just sitting in it you can feel a major difference. Still plenty of head room too.

Changed my rear shocks to Bilstein 5100.... everything went smooth, but I did have to shave down the rubber on the lower bolt holes to squeeze them in. Boy was it tight even when it was shaved (That’s what she said!!!).... anyways, got them installed without needing to jack up the truck or remove the tires. Took about an hour.

Mine arrived today. Have the 1” rear spacer already and love that. Can’t wait to get these installed and head out for a 1000 mile test ride.

Changed the oil and oil filter.
Installed 2015 headlights. I also installed a super white bumper, fog light bezels, fog light housings and bulbs (not wired yet).
Don't mind the missing filler panel, I broke a clip, new one should be here Tuesday.

I also installed the passenger side storage bin for the 110V outlet.

Installed my DIY prinsu rack. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Still have lights to install on it, just need to order all of the little parts for that.
Got my new 6 ton bottle jack situated in the stock location, along with the Safe Jack items I ordered to got with it. Everything fit pretty easily under the seat.
Also got primer on both sides and paint on the bottom side of my RCI front skid. Hopefully the rain holds off enough to finish painting it tomorrow.

Bud all you have to do is stick a hammer handle or a pry bar in the lower mount and spread them apart a little they will tighten right back up when you torque the bolt no need to shave the bushing

what bottle jack Kit is that? Stock one is borderline a joke.

Only thing I did today was gas her up. $70 on the nose. Ugh! And that’s with cheap gas. Mileage keeps creeping up though. 16.3 mpg on this tank. All city driving during stop and go, rush hour traffic. That idler pulley set made a big difference in mileage. I’m getting 30 miles more per tank!

$70? You must live in CA I take it?
I got the jack at the local tractor supply store for about $25 on sale. I can't imagine the truck will ever way more than 12,000 lbs. I bought the Safe Jack 3 pc starter kit for 6 ton jacks. It includes a 3" extension, a flat plate and an axle tube adapter. It was less than $100 shipped. Seemed like money well spent.
