Took these fancy taillights off and put the stock taillights back on. I was going to list them on Tacoma World but I am 45 post too short

Changed the air filter, emptied the catch can, changed the oil, and finally put in a short nipple fumoto valve. Stupid windy today and oil was going everywhere, very excited to avoid that on the next change.

Went out and started my truck before I left for work and learned that one of the bolts holding the catback to the y-pipe had broken/stripped out/fell out somewhere. So I guess I have a partial exhaust cutout now?

High school me would have thought it sounded dope though :D

Busy weekend for me. Installed 4.56 gears from East Coast Gear Supply, installed Wheeler's SuperBumps, and installed my gusseted spindles painted red :D. Super happy with the gearing choice for my 6 speed. Ready for my 500 mile break in period to be over so I can really try them out and feel what power I've reclaimed.

Sorry for the lack of pictures, but I was too busy working. I'm lucky I remembered to get this one.

Gave the Taco a well deserved bath and detail. Last Wednesday my 18 year Grandson and I left on Road trip to celebrate my 77th birthday and his going into the Marines we stoped in Boise to pick up the last of his stuff from his mom's as he and his twin brother and sister have lived with us for the last 2 years. We then went on to Salt Lake City to visit Kindig it Design and take the tour. The weather was raining all the way so the truck got plenty of road grime. On the way home we stopped and the Bonneville Salt Flats and found out we could go out on the flats. What a blast Grandson made a couple of runs at 90 and I made a few with one up near 110. But like I told him not wise as this was our way home and no safety equipment, if we blew a tire or something broke we would be in world of hurts. A number of people were out there running but everybody behaved and didn't get crazy. So yesterday gave it a bath and jacking it up pressure washed the underside to remove any salt.
