    I saw a video with a guy that used a 2”. I used a 2 1/8 because that’s what I had.

Connected it to the drivers side brake light. Drilled a with 1/2 bit through back of light housing to connect brake lights wiring to soft top brake light and used quick connects between the two for when I remove top. Putting the top on was a longer process than wiring the lights...especially in the nice cool October day (95 degrees) in Georgia.

There’s a picture out there of a super-white 2nd gen with A light grey, gator skin wrap , on its tailgate and I accidentally deleted the picture. I’ve been searching continuously and can’t find it. If anyone could help that would be wonderful. Thanks!

2" Level lift, Nitto Terra Grapplers 265/75R16 , Rear seat removed and modified for my pups. Removed all badges, added (doubled-up) TRD front skid plate, seasonal Leer Cap, seasonal tool box, Clazzio Leather seat covers, shortened mud guards, tow hitch recovery D-ring, Rigid front utility lights.
Not sure this counts. Added a $30 d-ring shackle from home depot to my trailer hitch.

Are those tires brand new? If not, what kind of cleaner/dressing do you use? They look fresh!

FJ cruiser transmission and transfer case. 3.73 4runner front diff. Diff drop. DRL mod. JBA upper control arms. Overhead console 4x4 switch and light switches. Coastal offroad front bumper. Airflow snorkel. Cut exhaust.
Ordered some 32"s and a pair of JBA Ucas' to replace the awful SPCs. I love the adjustability of the spc but with less than 400 miles on them the joints are clunking and popping.

How was it? I’ve been needing to do this for a few weeks now as the squeaking has gotten pretty bad... ordered the Spicer one for $75 two weeks ago Instead of one from dealership for $243:eek:. Ship date keeps getting pushed back now until late October. Probably going to find it elsewhere. Ordered from Jegs originally. I also got the spicer u joints but those came in two days after ordering.

Saved a electrical cabinet side panel that was deemed for the junk pile at work and turned it into a MOLLE panel, still gonna trim some off but all I had to do was paint and instal..not bad.

I had access to an impact driver and a couple of large vises. This helped tremendously. You definitely want a second pair of hands. Setting the u joint caps without losing or f’ing up the bearings is tricky. Get a buddy to help you for sure. It took us two hours to complete. Good luck.

Make sure you zip tie the through bolt to the shackle or it WILL vibrate loose (Unless you tighten it like crazy but now you have a shackle that you can't break loose to actually use) and you'll lose the shackle and possibly damage someone else's vehicle.

Great improvement! How'd you do that? Beats skid plates all day long. The hitch reciever will take hits and not budge, but the electrical outlet suffers, made of plastic and low in harm's way.

Not Today but last week... put on my BAMF no hoop bumper and some LED fogs with amber covers. Need to get a 31” bar and winch but first need to swap out the springs on my coil overs for it to sit properly again. Bumper dropped the coils about an inch.
