Fortunately I can compensate because I'm manual but it is sluggish compared to stock. I bought the wheels 4 years ago 40% off on black friday.

If your truck has a V6 you can install a rear differential (or just the ring and pinion) out of a 4 cylinder truck and it'll go from a 3:73 to a 4:11.

Not sure where to ask, so directions would be appreciated. Can't figure out how to search existing threads.

I have a 2007 Tacoma TRD AC with 91,000 miles. Vehicle is from Wisconsin - I bought it used in 2009 and imported it into Ontario.

Toyota dealer is offering to carry out several recalls including frame replacent and leaf spring replacement. I am getting ready to sell as I am pushing 80 and would like a new truck (probably my last). Would like to hear from owners who have had the frame replacement. In Canada these repairs will cost 15-16 thousand dollars Can. Dealer has to submit to Toyota for approval. Dealer says some items will not be approved and will be my cost. Also says other items may be discovered as work is done - again at my cost.

I do not trust local dealer as far as I could through my taco so looking for feedback.

    Thanks for any assistance.

TrailGear looks to have acquired Wheelers OffRoad.

I purchased a set of extended rear brake lines from Wheelers on their 15% off sale, my Amex I used is linked to ApplePay which shows real time charge notifications, the charge came up immediately and read "Trail Gear". I hit up Trail Gear's site, and they do not list Wheelers as an owned brand, but I bet we see it very soon. And they are also running the exact same 15% off sale as Wheelers. Trail Gear has acquired LowRange, then AllPro, now Wheelers...

Yep that was the word in the BF sales thread....here is hoping @HeadStrong Off-Road doesn't fall for those shenanigans.

When Allpro got acquired they went to shit. I bought from Allpro just before it went down and it was a great experience then after things just tanked.

I have the same hiss/buzz sound in mine. I had it installed at a shop a few years ago and had nothing but problems with it and them. went to a different shop had it fixed and changed a few things now I have that hiss sound even with the volume at 0.

The search function can be found at the top right, it looks like a magnifying glass, and it's under the word alerts. I don't have an answer to your question.

What brand is the head unit, what brand is the amplifier, and how much did the RCA cables cost? Is any of the equipment used? Does the sound exist with the engine off or only while the engine is running? Need more information.
A hiss at no volume implies a gain control that is adjusted far too high or a big amplifier hooked up to a stock/poor quality head unit. A buzz at no volume implies feedback. Feedback can be caused by improper grounds (all stereo equipment should be grounded at the exact same location to prevent a ground loop), a RCA wire that is of poor quality or has been damaged during installation, poor quality equipment, and by damaged equipment.

I had my frame replaced and it didn't cost me anything. My truck had about 130k miles and wasn't ever in any really harsh salt states. The only hole I saw was by my catalytic converters.
They provide the frame, brake lines, and lower control arms. I got the same warning as you about that they could find items not covered under the work and I would have to pay but everything worked out fine for me. Find a good dealer and you should be fine. They should be able to do a pre inspection and estimate what they might have to replace.

Exactly, if they can't estimate it then find a dealer that can.
