The truck is driven for mostly long trips and towing... at or near the desert.

Not a good way to end the day!
    20191212_150059.jpg
Autozone said the CEL is for the crank position sensor... time for me to do research on head gaskets and crank position sensor replacements.

Not all done today, but took the photo of three mods today.
Most expensive is solar power. Panel, battery, etc., about $400. 100% portable, solar power is a real game changer.

If you have a shell and roof racks, you can make a modest canopy for either side of the truck for $25-30. Stuff really costs a lot here in the USA but you always think you're getting a deal.
The "t-shirt in the power window" mod is free and keeps the hot sun and prying eyes out of the cab.

    What year is your truck?
I'm in the desert and the rain here has caused condensation on the oil filler cap. With the year of my truck, that's not something I need to see.
Keep an eye on it, especially the coolant level.

Replace crank position sensor, clear cel, do compression test and if all numbers are good, take it for a spin. Pretty easy to run down an issue with foamy oil. BMWs commonly have this happen on short trips, a member here earlier stated the reasoning behind this.

It does need an alignment still, a crankshaft position sensor, a compression test, and more parts to install that I already have.

That's pretty common if you take short trips. If your average start time is over 30 minutes you may have an issue.

New front/ rear kings and shock relocate. More BD lights and that UFO thing on the bedrack. Seriously thinking about wrapping the tent cover. That gray is lighter than it looked in pictures.
