    Not a mod but more of a moment of frustration. Someone hit me at work today in the lot. Did at least get their info.

    Had some down time at work and finally installed a Wheelers AAL and U-bolt Flip Kit that have been collecting dust in my garage.

    Exactly !!!! I have responded to a couple of posts in the past in Re: raising /lowering seats, with some work I did with foam under the seat covers for exactly that reason..You mess with the stock hardware and get involved in a accident and any hint of issue with the seat arises related to mounting and your insurance will drop you in the:crapstorm:

    @DG92071

    Nice pic. But can you explain what I'm looking at , and what are you trying to accomplish.

    My inquiring mind wants to know.

    Thanks

    What about one of the roof strips?
    I just noticed that the passenger side one has come off a bit right where it meets the back window glass.

    I liked the blankness of it.

    It's my best idea on how to control the height adjustment of the seat manually, one knob for the front of the seat, one knob for the rear of the seat (one knob for each end of the seat that faces forward). There isn't a location on the side of the seat for a manual adjustment to go through the seat frame without drilling (trying to keep it a plug and play install for when I planned on selling them). There is room for an electrical switch for a power seat control on the side of the seat.

    Maybe, but the roof strips aren't sealed to begin with, they just sit in the grooves with press-fit sections at each end of the roof. If the front or rear glass leaks it's not because of the roof strips. When you pull them out to do anything there's plenty of dirt that gets under them.
