    Yup... I'm pissed.
I bought a set of "Eco-Green" mats made from recycled, biodegradable materials at Pep Boys and had worn a hole clear through under the accelerator in just under 3 months.

Figured, okay... they're junk mats and worth every penny of $30 that I paid for them.

Bought a set of genuine Toyota TRD mats for $65. Hell... the mats in my Tundra and the company 4-Runner were great and held up just fine.

Noticed a "wad" of fuzz the other day.
Yup... bare spot under the accelerator in just over 4 months.

I hate hard plastic mats, but I don't want to wear my carpet.

However, a job change is going to be getting me out of the work boots and into nicer shoes, but I don't know that heel wear will improve.
I'm going to give factory mats one more shot after I shed these boots in a month or so.
If I blow another set of Toyota mats, I'll go to Weathertechs.

I've had weathertech's in my Tacoma for almost 2 years now...

    good product,

    except:
-they do not completely cover the drivers side dead pedal, plan on sand and dirt getting in there.
-and I would like to have them w/o the hooks on both the driver & pass side, plenty of dirt gets in there as well.

-also, I have the tan interior...so I got the tan mats. look good and a nice match...but they do show the dirt.

just a few points from an owner. yes, I'd still buy them again.

I've had weathertechs in many vehicles over the years and love them. They're incredibly durable and very good at their job.

Exactly why I chose the black as opposed to the light gray ones. There's enough black in the interior that you can get away with it.

Just got a great deal on a tool box on Craigslist. Drove an hour to pick it up but it was well worth it. Happy 4th for me!

Seriously though, Craigslist is your best friend with parts and accessories.

Weird, I just did almost the exact same thing a week ago. Drove just over an hour one-way and got this brand new Gladiator that retails for around a grand for $275:

I got Husky brand box for the bed that was a perfect fit.

In my search for a truck bed box I saw a ton of shop tool boxes for sale. If I had the room I would have picked one of them up as well. Some people are really giving them away with barely any use. Grats on your deal, looks brand new.

Thanks man. I'm stoked and that's the reason I jumped in the truck at 10:00pm to drive to get there at about 11:30 on a week night and back home by about 1:00am. I didn't want to miss out and the whole way down all I could think about was how pissed I would be when I showed up and it was a scam or not as advertised. Needless to say I was stroked to pull into a nice neighborhood and ring the doorbell of what would end up being the owner of an Ace hardware with all high end tool stuff and this 'crappy' Gladiator he got from a convention for next to nothing didn't go with his current stuff. When I got home I couldn't even go to bed. I unloaded it and moved all my tools over and get it all set up. I have quite a bit more room now than I had before and I can only imagine what it would be like to have a HUGE tool box. I do quite a bit of my own wrenching and my smaller tool box has served me just fine. Now I should be able to invent cold fusion with this puppy! :D
