What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

got my afe pro dry s air filter in today, & put it in, finally!

 

I got an OEM stock air filter and replaced my old K&N one.

 

rear ended an off duty CHP officer (not my fault) outside the toby keith concert in san jose. Destroyed the rear of his little honda CR-V and only had 2 small dents in my bumper. once again toyota reigns supreme.

 

detailed my car... took me about 3.5 hours.. for the first time

 

I gave my baby a nice wash. Then like 3 other neighbors started to wash their cars. lol, im a trend setter.

 

No doubt on both counts

 

I just got back from the bank. Made the last payment on the truck!

 

congrats man! thats huge!

 

Today I flushed the power steering system, and changed my rear diff oil! all part of my mission to get my truck up to par again

I just installed NASTA Nerf Bars on my 09. It was super easy! Toyota was nice enough to include threaded mounting holes under the cab so you just remove the plastic plugs & bolt it right on! Last week I installed a chrome front grille, Cruise Control & Intermittent Wipers. Next week I'm doing fog lights.

 

i wonder if my '08 has the same holes.. ?

 

oh and I drove my truck to work, back home, to the convenience store, back to work, home again, and back to work. Thats pretty much it.

 

Look under the cab in the same location you see my mounts & see if there are 2 black plastic flathead screws in the cab on the front & rear. They unscrew very easily to expose the threaded screw holes for the bar mounts. The holes are under the cab, not on the frame.

 

I started the painting process of my wheels today ( gotta ride on the gay stock 14's ). Installed my grille inserts. And tomorrow getting the smoked headlights most likely.

 

i fixed my broken steering wheel that came out of the dash for the second time while driving last night
