    Thanks. I’ve been using Mothers CMX since it came out. It holds up really well and is stupid easy to apply. I used to use Optiseal before but honestly, I’m more impressed with the CMX.

    I found if you stack two layers it’s super durable.

    Any time I bucket wash the truck, I’ll use the CMX as a drying aid just to keep up with it.

    Blah blah blah. Yes this is an upgrade over my k&n intake. Fully enclosed and dry filter vs my open oiled filter. Installing tomorrow after hopefully powdercoating the top plate white.

    Yea it’s actually really simple to do, Amazon had a million hydro dipping films that come in any color with every design. On this film I used, everything that you see that is white is clear on the film. It shows whatever color you place under the film. Obviously I chose white.

    About a week ago, decided to flush brake fluid, thought I'd pull the drums before it did for a visual inspection. Proceed to have by son operate the brake peddle as I manned the bleeder valve... Forgot to put drum back on.... adjuster got longer.... I didn't realize LEFT side is reversed threaded.... ended up stripping it..... got it back together until I got a replacement part.... replaced to today.
