I couldn't wait to post an install pic, these black Zinc rotors look awesome!!

Planning to do brakes tonight and a full detail tomorrow.

 

Installed some ditch lights. Loving the look! I went with off brand because I live in West Hollywood (Not the most safe and quiet area at night) If they get stolen I won’t be upset losing hundreds of dollars.

8 inch. Never had any problems with it.

 

Nice! What is the rotor size? Is there a 6 lug solution?

 

Had an awful grinding/screeching noise coming from my left front at a half right turn. Immediately panicked and figured my wheel bearing was shot. Turns out I had a rock in my rotor from off-roading. Fun stuff.

 

Just did the brakes and rotors on mine this morning. I can't believe all the rust on the caliper and the rotors!!! It's really unbelievable how much these trucks rust.

That's in the cards next. We have a 6 lug spindle and a local friend of mine has a truck to test fit on

The only potential issue for that is you'll probably need 18s to run brakes this size. We have a rotor picked out that's slightly smaller that will fit, but we wont know until it's finished, mounted, and tested

 

Gx460 caliper and rotors with 4 runner dust shields.

 

I didn’t think it was too hard, considering this was my first attempt with vinyl. The pattern I used, however has texture to it, which made it nearly impossible to squeegee the bubbles out. So, unfortunately it’s not 100% clean, but I’m still happy with it. This is a great activity for being stuck at home with no end in sight. I took my time and it turned out to be a cheap, cathartic mod.

 

Looks good to me from the pics.... I might have to give this a try...

Didn’t do anything to the truck. But the girlfriend did make me this awesome pillow case with her vinyl machine. So upset I sold my bike Still have my Vw and two tacos now

 

Ok, just going to throw this out there... paint some brown spots on the calipers, make it look like an old banana.

Honestly though it looks like today is break day, currently changing my pads and rotors too and decided to paint the calipers with some spare header paint I found laying around.
