Any one know of or can share a link to a front grill trim ring for the Tacoma. 2018 model trd sport. I’m looking to delete the chrome trim ring. Hoping for an over lay type item if it out there.

I’m not sure the part number, but try searching 2018 Tacoma grill bezel. That should bring up what you’re looking for.

Some also remove and plasti dip or paint them. Cheaper option than the 100 or so bucks for a new one.

Interesting. Make sure the aluminum if you guys have it doesn't touch any of the steel bed. It's called galvanic corrosion....two dissimilar metals touching. So in this case the steel will sacrifice itself for the aluminum. Just a word of caution.

Good catch! I use a hood hinge mount for my HAM antenna and have to remove it/unscrew it from the base when going through the car wash. The antenna base is aluminum and the hinge mount base is steel/chrome. Noticed it had gotten hard to unscrew then I realized the dissimilar metals thing and added a layer of Anti-seize. No more "hard to get unscrewed" now.

Did the same. No tarp in mine through. Bang a nice gouge in the bed with first scoop. OUCH.

Sure could tell I had about 1,000lbs in the bed when it drove. No issues - just different.

Got it to work it. Wait til I have to put livestock and stuff in the back! :)

Installed Diode Dynamics SS3 pro driving lights behind the grill. Bought the lights with yellow lenses then swapped to clear so I could get that 4k color goodness.

Mounted using the BAMF bracket which is well designed and solidly made. So many options for lights now!

    Made the Taco go boom.

Waiting on one more piece of gear (DSP) to go in that gap on the passengers side and then I'll finish cleaning up the wiring and trim out the rest of the exposed metal. 2 weekends of work well spent.

Now I just need to get some leather seat covers and the interior will be mostly done and I can move on to the exterior mods. Waiting on my roof rack currently.

Yeah. The tarp was there so my wife and I could pull out the mulch after removing some off the top. Not to protect the bed. It helps keep the majority of the ribs in the plastic bed liner from filling with mulch. That way I don't spend an hour sweeping out the bed of the truck. It essentially boils down to me being lazy. I was directing the woman that was operating the front end loader while getting the mulch. I've actually seen a bucket smack the top of a truck cab near the brake light. Not a good day.

I've been looking for a solution to mount some lights behind my grill, and this bracket is perfect! Thank you for sharing, as I never knew it existed. Ordering now :spending: (I have a love/hate relationship with is forum and my wallet!)
