Vents turned out great especially considering the alternative is taking apart the whole assembly to replace

WIP: Smaller bins up on the front rack. These are Vault 800 series, will need the 700 series size wise. Apogee rear bumper (non swing arm) gets here in about 2 weeks. Going with the ReTraxPro XR (tonneau cover) and the UpTOP Retrax compatible Truss bars. RTT in my future. Should save some weight over all and have a lot more storage in the bed and more room to sleep in the RTT than was available inside the topper.

Did you decide that you don't need the swingarms after all, or are you planning to weld on the hinge tabs once the arms are available? Just curious.

    Your truck looks great!

Picked up these rough country seat covers for $45 locally. Not crazy about the fit, but they’ll do.

I was tired of waiting for the swing arm model. Knowing I can always weld on the spindles later for the swing arms when/if they ever get released, makes it less of an issue. I doubt the swing arm model will be released this year, IMO. I'd rather have a rear armored bumper than none at all for an entire season. Now that I am dropping some weight with my new build direction, I would rather have the swing arms. Guess we'll see how it plays out!

That's a horrible idea. What time?
If I weren't a week behind, I'd have recommended the same thing. I pulled a Focus from Detroit to DC. About the best way to handle this. Glad you had better luck with Penske. My experience was less than ideal when we moved the household from Detroit to the DC area.

Ah things were/are so dynamic here. At the time of that post, yeah, we were gonna do the Penske route.
Now officially concrete plans are letting Pods handle the move (cheaper than Penske…) and I’ll be towing the wife’s Accord up. Taco will handle like a champ and we don’t have to fly 2 people back home after they accompany us if we had gone the Penske route.

I added a VIAIR 88P to my emergency kit in the truck along with a decent quality tire plug kit.

My truck is actually in the shop overnight to fix a nagging brake squeak - happens every time just the truck comes to a complete stop. After doing various things the dealership elevated it to Toyota Technical Assistance who recommended putting new drums on the truck. Parts have been ordered for overnight so, hopefully, I'll get it back tomorrow.

I wish we had done pods. We were going to storage and a condo I was renting. We used one of those regional truck companies that park a pup trailer in the driveway and contract helpers to load / unload. Biggest mistake of the move. No air ride on the shocks, so lots of bumping and some stuff moved and was damaged. They didn't provide a ramp for the offload. Was a first class cluster. The Penske was for the stuff going to the condo. Filthy on pickup and was the only available. Loaded up and hit the freeway it developed a nasty but manageable wobble. Went to the shop on a tow truck. Never again.

That sounds horrible. My godfathers used 3 Penskes over the last 4 years all on 1800* mile treks. They treated him well.

I’ve been warned of horror stories from Pods too though. Only things of value Pods will handle is a few TVs so as long as they deliver in a reasonable time frame I won’t have much to complain of.

Thanks! As much as I love MESO's products, I wanted to avoid taking stuff apart, so I figured I'd give these a shot. For $13.00 is was worth a try. I do like the way they came out though.

Put my license plates on. Now I'm gonna fill out the paperwork I forgot before, and spend some money to get the personalized plates I want LOL.
