/le sigh. That's what the back tires are for. Climb up the back and jump in. That's half the fun!

It's why I traded my full-size for a DCSB to fit in the garage. If I wanted a full-size bed I would get a full size truck that is a lot nicer than the Tacoma, more capability hauling and towing etc etc

Well, I haven't added this to my truck, yet... But it's on order and will be here soon! Now, if someone rear ends me or backs into me, they'll get the brunt of the damage. (Plus I need it to tow shit!)

Oftentimes It can make you a worse driver because you rely on it or startle the driver into doing something stupid.

I agree 100%. My friends make fun of me because I still use my rearview and side mirrors when backing up, changing lanes, etc... I was raised that way, and I hope I don't ever stop that habit. I've even gone so far as turning off the BSM in my Taco for weeks at a time. I disabled the audible alert for the BSM the moment I bought the truck.

I couldn't find Husky, but these work great. I've had them since the day I bought my truck:

Same here except I refuse to use mirrors when backing up. I turn and look where I'm going. In the truck I've started using the backup camera for the first and last foot or so, but the rest is unchanged.

Not if it’s a TACOMA! 127.4” wheelbase on the DCSB and AC vs 140.6” wheelbase on the DCLB; I have the TRD Off-road DCSB and if I wanted a work truck there are much better options out there. Mine is a DD and used regularly for recreation (i.e., wheelin). Not sure why the DCLB is even offered in the Off-road version; it’s a school bus  even the Gladiator has a shorter wheelbase at 137.3”. A buddy of mine had a Gladiator and we went wheelin one weekend and were on a narrow trail and came to a point where we had no choice but to turn around due to erosion of the trail. There was a wall on one side and a steep drop (like 200’) on the other side. I had to spot him and his school bus; he looked like he was ready to drop a deuce  I understand that folks have needs that the DCLB fits the bill but please don’t compare the DCSB to a Ridgeline. We all know it’s not a truck. :crapstorm:

Custom, only one ever designed and built interiors, heavily welded frame, all sharp metal turned bed rack and a roof top I made for $75. Power pedal, injen intake system, cat delete, summit racing brake proportioning valve controlled on the fly, slightly adjusted or perhaps unrecognizable ECM, built in under bed storage, high clearance rear built with 1/4" on a 6011 1/8" rod at 120 amps, 360 degrees of led light, a PA and CB, on board air, on board propane (to cook food), on board fridge made from an old red bull fridge found on some guys man cave built into the storage cubby under the back seat, imported tranny and clutch from a good friend over in Europe to replace this aisin junk we get, combined 32 gallons fuel capacity, 18 5 gallons of water storage, built in gun locker under RTT, and all it cost was to hear the wife ramble on about upset neighbors at 2 in the morning every night since I bought that damn truck..
I'm getting everything part wise together and thought about doing a dedicated thread actually. It's very informative to those that would be interested. I'm gonna drop you a PM that might interest you

Thisssss. Fitting in the garage was my #1 requirement, even though LB would have worked out significantly better for mountain biking lol.
