Well. We had it all figured out yesterday… no hill assist in the manual transmissions on the OR and Pro.

Few things delivered for a wheelin trip coming up, going to try and sneak a compressor on the truck before hand also but we will see. And installed some front superbumps

Finally got around to installing the MESO Hitch Pod.Used the Hotshot plug and play harness. Super simple install.

 

@Truck Brigade is the real deal!!! Ordered our Prinsu rack and before it shipped they went on sale..not a problem. They took care of us and loving the Tacoma.

 

My changes under the hood consist of removing the charcoal air box filter, and replacing the intake tube with a smoother/straighter aftermarket piece. I swapped out the fender duck bill intake for the TRD velocity piece, and planned on replacing the filter with a cleanable unit, but this truck already had the TRD filter, and the tag advising not to throw it away. I also did my own version of the ac drain tube, adding the “T” should allow any water a second path if the first is blocked, and it should be easy to send a clean-out wire down the main route. I drilled out the portion of the T that is in the factory tube, hoping it will not cause any back-up into the ac unit. Time will tell, needing the ac seems like a distant need at this time!

I believe since the 4x4 is on the bedside decals of the OR and Sport they left them off of the tailgate. The Pro, SR and SR5 have the 4x4 emblem on the tailgate. If you like the 4x4 emblem you can always purchase one from a dealer, Amazon or Ebay.

 

Really needed the utility of the 6' bed AND being able to close the tailgate.

Also, the front end settled after some good brake pumping! Has maybe a half inch rake to it now.

 

Mine are individual pieces. Came on a clear sheet and you applied that and pealed it off.

DV8 front bumper. It’s not perfect but good enough for me. I don’t have a winch yet but it does have a mount. Wasn’t hard to install. The video shows taking to whole front bumper off but I was able to do it by taking off the grill and then undoing the plastic lower bumper cover and take it off. I was able to get the aluminum crash bar out no problem also absolutely NO cutting so can be put back to stock very easily. Anyway here are pics. And I won’t be mounting the led light bar. I don’t like how it installs with such small hardware. If I hit anything it would fold up into my grill. I will also powder coat the shackles myself just have to decide on a color. Also installed a meso red start button and a minimalist key fob in safety orange.

 

finally got the glove box lock cylinder removed and powder coated. pretty much no more shiny chrome left except the seat belt tongue things and the headrest posts...

 

Installed Cascadia 4x4 Flipster v3 & made myself a couple frames for the new plates.

 

I respect this level of commitment.

 

24F AGM will fit perfectly! I was also hoping to get an Interstate from Costco but none of my local stores had the 24F AGM in stock...so I went with the EverStart from Walmart. They have a 4 year free replacement warranty and are a bit cheaper than the Interstate at Costco.

 

315/75r16’s wish they had the fuel mileage of a 285 though
