Sure. I guess it is part of the hinge assembly. On the opposite side facing inwards, there is a protruding tab that rubs on the cover as you open and close the seat back. I have it slightly stretched over the outside portion so the tab does not rub. Just looks a little loose though.

Yep, did that on the nails. Finished the back seat and headrests today. Will try the fronts tomorrow. Only issue I had with the back was trying to get the top seat belt opening of the cover stretched around the plastic insert on the seat. Took awhile. Anyway, I think they look nice.

I wanted an aluminum trailer but couldn't find any at the beginning of the pandemic. Found the Karavan trailer at Sam's Club which was 2ft wider and 2 ft longer than the aluminum I was looking for. The Karavan was $600 cheaper and I can fit a sports utv in the future if I decide to get one. I'm glad I settled with this one. The only mod was the 1x10 drop in boards to carry loose dirt. I like this quote, these ARE great trucks and you can do some tricked out shit to them. Sometimes even do shit that you really think is awesome and someone comes along and rags on it. But hey, its their opinion, and as they say, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. Be happy.

Actually I did. I've had to replace 4 post the past 2 weeks while working on the fence and I had to replace 3 last year. What a pain in the ass to get those up in concrete especially when a few of the post were rotten at the ground and broke off. New post are all in the ground now and setting up. I still have some more of the 2x4's and dogs ears to install as well as stain to match everything else. Rain forecast tomorrow and Monday so I hope to finish up by the end of next weekend.

You need to look into the Sika Postfix at home Depot. It's better than mixing concrete and it only takes like 5 min per pole from start to finish. The hardest part is digging the hole.

Used it to haul away our old sofa. New one is being delivered Tuesday and the old one went to the local Second Chance store.

The good thing in the holes were already there because I had to dig out the old post. I typically use Quikrete around my post. Fill about 1/2 the hole with water, slowly pour the Quikrete in as it mixes itself if you go real slow, then let it set. Never had an issue with one. I will definitely look at the Sika Postfix next time I'm at home depot. That is usually where I get most of my products for around the house.

It is my work truck for out in the bush. Coming from an '07 2nd gen to a '21 OR 3rd gen, heated seats - good, back up camera for peripheral vision backing out of angle parking and for hooking up a trailer - good. Colours of what nots - don't give a damn as they are probably covered in dust or mud anyways. Fewer or smaller internal storage compartments for my work gear, spares and tools - bad.

I still miss my '97 Hilux as my work truck but not on the highway getting to a job.

Nice! Got any pics of the Hilux? Wouldn’t mind getting my hands on one. My ‘21 OR is my DD and used for off highway recreation. Love this truck!

Bought new in Guatemala, I still own it and have it stored in Belize, 2.8l 4cyl diesel. I've driven across that same bridge with ~4" of water covering it and flowing fast.

Yes, left hand drive. I want to get it home to Canada one day.

    008.jpg

Also had baby Unimog on the project.
