What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Lift, wheels, sliders (not pictured). Took a few days. Love the new look.

 

Went and picked up my sliders! Cali raised trail edition, powder coated. Poked my nose in at the upcoming showroom too.

 

Just added the topper. Tire upgrade to Nitto Terra Grappler G2's. Plasti Dip for the badges and the stock wheels. The raccoon tail used to belong to someone who would beat up Noodle and take his food.

It's simple and awesome. I took an alcohol wipe and removed most of the "AVS" logo on the lower right.

It was $81 when I purchased.

 

Not all that exciting of a mod but my bed mat arrived today. I did get a great price thanks to this thread...

Thanks to all who contributed to the bed mat thread. I was able to score a mat for $92, which is much cheaper than ordering anywhere else online and saved me a trip (or 2) to the dealer.

I was banned for the last 30 days (I'm a turd) so, I did this while I was "away." Painted my OEM wheels bronze with new TRD center caps, also painted bronze, and added black lug nuts!

 

FINALLY got the Pro wheels and tires mounted! Super stoked. Stance is so much better over stock and digging the bump in ride height. Original wheels/tires are in the bed in the photos so sitting a little lower back there. Forgot to buy the TRD black mag lug nuts so used the original and actually really like the contrast/pop of silver. Dope! This is addiciting...

Been wondering the same. It's definitely not USB.

 

I ran the front wheels up on ramps. Then placed/balanced a large piece of cardboard on my floor jack with the plate on the cardboard. Jacked it up right into place, then did all the bolts. Much easier than I thought - done in less than 30 min.

 

If I am not mistaken, the other port is called USB-C ... used by latest mobile phones such as Galaxy S21/S22.

 

Made some extra room yesterday

 

Changed out the tweeters I got for my bday. Sounds great!

Did mine today. Was able to do without removing the TRD front skid. Drove front wheels on ramps. Laid moving blanket on concrete driveway.

Essentially removed the braces, put the small plate with 3 holes above the cross member. Installed (started the bolts, did not tighten just yet) the large flat plate, rear, under the braces, and then finagled the 3 long bolts that hold the front to that small plate above the cross member. Was able to hold that small plate in place while willing those bolts into place. Then installed the wing on the drivers side. Had to rotate the right brace out of the way to get the passenger side wing installed. Then finished putting in the rest of the bolts and tightened.

While the CRES plate will take more effort to defeat I suspect the aluminum one is stiffer. I haven’t taken a test drive but seems it’s a bit flimsy. It is a quality product. Got here quickly and they responded to my question quickly.

 

Started wiring up my OE aux power tray for some inbound goodies. Should be done and ready for ‘plug-n-play’ before the accessories arrive.

 

Believe it or not, we haven't seen much snow here. Nothing like we did in '96. Past few years it's been one big banger of a storm. Lots of threatening storms, but little else.

But since I don't have the dash doohickey you have, I think I want to make the hole in the lower switch panel. Should I just remove that lower section with the panel in it to drill it out?
