I haven’t even bothered because of the backlog. So many other great things to see though, so I cannot complain.

I like hitting these falls in the White Mountains in lieu of Havasupai. It’s rare I see a soul there.

Don’t be sorry at all. Always better safe than sorry. Imagine if it was a crack. I drive 120 miles round trip everyday. Wouldn’t have ended well for me.

It was early in the pandemic, as was basically all Native land- as far as I know now though, you’ll just be waiting a very long time on the permit backlog.

Custom, only one ever designed and built interiors, heavily welded frame, all sharp metal turned bed rack and a roof top I made for $75. Power pedal, injen intake system, cat delete, summit racing brake proportioning valve controlled on the fly, slightly adjusted or perhaps unrecognizable ECM, built in under bed storage, high clearance rear built with 1/4" on a 6011 1/8" rod at 120 amps, 360 degrees of led light, a PA and CB, on board air, on board propane (to cook food), on board fridge made from an old red bull fridge found on some guys man cave built into the storage cubby under the back seat, imported tranny and clutch from a good friend over in Europe to replace this aisin junk we get, combined 32 gallons fuel capacity, 18 5 gallons of water storage, built in gun locker under RTT, and all it cost was to hear the wife ramble on about upset neighbors at 2 in the morning every night since I bought that damn truck..
Starting to fall back into my overland project finally. Been absolute hell these last few weeks. Finally got to do some small things while sitting at the red light this afternoon. The nice man in the car behind me was good enough to inform me it was in fact not a red light anymore so I had to stop spray painting and in fact move foward at a rate of speed much faster than zero. Got new Eaton fuller 13 speed installed and my 1934 Allis Chalmers steering wheel on as well except my 13 speed must've been robbed cuz I only have 6 and I can't find my splitter anywhere and some SOB put a Sombrero in the middle of my wheel. The times are mad I tell you...

Loaded up the bed and we went fishing today. Barbecued for lunch. No bologna, cheese and sand for lunch. Took an unexpected wave that entered the waders and Excellent day with the family.

Those are just cheap amber warning lights that I purchased from a place called Extreme Tactical LEDs (they were actually free when I purchased my directional light bar from them for my rear window). I am a photojournalist, so I need warning lights on my car when I am stopped on a highway or inside of an area closed to the public (fire perimeter, etc.). I will eventually swap those out for better lights... probably a pair of Whelen Microns.

That’s pretty dope all the stuff you did. Why did you choose to mount the chuck by the plate?

I wish stormpeacock still made those charger plate covers.

Kind of a long story, so I'll try my best to summarize. I wanted a tank, that was pretty much a requirement for me. Most posts on here you'll see people remove the spare tire and mount a large tank. I didn't want to lose my spare, and I didn't want to have to do much to mount it, so I asked a buddy of mine from work if he could fabricate something up. We decided the best place would be behind the drivers side taillight. After getting that mounted and the tank installed, I wanted somewhere sturdy to mount the chuck, and the closest and easily accessible place was by the license plate. The metal doesn't span across the complete back, which is why it's not centered.

I know, right?! Maybe @Stormpeacock still has a few left over just chilling.

we have had a rash of cat thefts in our pretty mellow neighborhood the last few weeks. Cops caught 3 of them in the act, and I’m getting a 2” lift/suspension upgrade in a few weeks. Sort of forced the issue here.

the Talons garage plate is solid and Doubles as a skid if needed.
