Did the full flush and fill on the Power Steering Fluid at 61K. OEM fluid was nasty brown and after completing the process I realized how much easier the truck steering wheel now turns. Then decided to install new Halogen Low Beam lights - did the H9 bulbs (which require the easy removal of the H11 adaptor plug) - gosh I can see the road again! Next up the transmission pan drop and filter replacement followed by tire rotation and oil change. Need to wash the truck too! Happy Holidays!

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
Installed the Truxedo Lo-Pro tonneau I "stole" from Amazon for $125 on Black Friday. It took a while to get here and the box it came in looked kinda rough so I was a little nervous but it was definitely never installed (all the hardware was there and in its original sealed bags). :D

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Thank you, I do have some skills. Yeah I noticed that too but was worn out by too much typing so in it stayed…

I just never tell the price on anything and burn the receipts with the excuse the fire is part of my satanic rituals.

For example, my $5 arm console tray, was “only $3.50 dear and it normally costs $100 so I saved over $95 by buying it while they were discounted.”

    Works pretty good…

Yeah, they nowhere near as good as full size pickups in the snow and never will be no matter what tires you put on.

That said, do have good snow tires, and put at least 400 pounds in the bed if you regularly drive snowy city streets. I have 8 of the 50 pound sandbags on a bench behind my tailgate in the garage, and at the same height as the open tailgate so easy to slide in and out as needed.

Yup, I miss my full sized Fords for that reason, but otherwise those trucks too big now for my current needs.

I have had 4 different 4x4s over the last 35 years. I use 4WD as often as I need to. On a typical day on snowy roads here, I will shift into 4WD on every corner, and every stop so I can get going. For snow covered roads and steady driving, I just leave it in 4WD. If the road gets clear, back into 2WD. I might shift into 4WD at least 20 times per day.

Never had an issue with any truck with diffs, transfer case, gears, nada. Driving this one for 4 winters now and no issues.

This is a very quick install. I've done three as of now and it took me around 25 minutes. The easiest way to install these is from the front grill down @AwesomeLaw68.

How did you know I was trying to decide between the RCI and TRD Pro skid plates? Great comparison and thank you for providing clear information to help decide. I didn't actually know that the Sport and OR had different plates.
Note: I'm waiting for my RCI sliders, and am aware that RCI also makes an aluminum plate (1/4" thick, 22 pounds).

Hey @WaitingOnMyR1T, Removing the connector we sell with our lights to accommodate another style does not void our warranty.

Seatjackers in front and rear of shotgun seat, excellent! Well received by GF.
Blacked out chrome emblems on doors, tailgate and steering wheel.
Electric tailgate lock installed by Toyota dealer. I had them do it while I was having a new key FOB programmed.
"Badged" the left front with custom A&P Tech badge from Loot designs ( I am an aircraft technician).

Next-looking at seat cover options. The snow today was going right in on the cloth seats...not good.

Paul, I am pretty much like you, my stock truck will take me every place I need to go. So far my mods are basically cosmetic, except for a better skid plate . I will upgrade tires when the time comes buts that probably it, but for those that sink $$$$$ into their trucks, that cool as well
