Put a bead of silicone around it. The gasket on those aren't waterproof. Ask me how I know.

Love how it looks. Quick question......do you hop into your truck through the passenger side? You're pretty close to those shelves.

I wired up the winch and ditch lights and bumper lights and switches on Sunday after I spent Friday afternoon installing the winch, bumper, and lights. Weather is crappy and I haven't been out to snap flicks at dusk or dark with the lights on, but MAN what a different the ditch and bumper spot lights make in the pitch black Wyoming back country. Please note I have a few minor things left to do like trim the excess length of the machine screws to the m-LVD and the winch switch as well as some wire loom to run. You can barely see it, but the 500A ANL fuse can be seen just below the battery in the first pic below.

Parts are labeled in the wiring diagram.

    Excellent diagram !!
For the Blue Sea Systems switch, is that located in the truck or out with the winch?

The 6006 m-Series switch is in the engine bay across from the battery. You can see it in the top and second to top pics mounted vertically (bright red switch). I have 2AWG coming from the battery to the switch and then going to the 500A ANL fuse then to the winch. I wanted to keep the run short to minimize power loss and running 2AWG into and out of the firewall would have been a bitch. It does mean I have to pop the hood when I want to use it, but I'm cool with that.

It is rated at 300A continuous, 500A intermittent(<5 minutes), and 900A cranking (<30 seconds). The winch is rated at 500A max so I should be good.

    Edit: clarity

Technically not "done today" but ordered some Toyo MT LT255/85R16 tires to go on my TRD faux beadlocks (16x7.5 offset 10 mm) on a 2022 AC OR with the factory TRD Lift. Original dealer is putting on the tires, and they are a bunch of truck nerds, so I'm counting on them to make it all work as best as possible. I'll post photos once they are on and I've done a bush run to the cabin to check for rubbing. We'll see if the front mudguards survive until summer.

Yes, I know they are going to suck on early-season ice and hardpack snow in hunting season before I put on the winters.
But, I had a set of the same tires, same size, on an FJ, and so I also have some suitable chains for adverse conditions at high altitude.
    https://www.nosted.com/en/trygg-standard-double-duty
I know some guys think chains aren't necessary, but they have saved my bacon more than once; usually when I was smart enough to put them on early.

Also ordered the front bed rail and "end bits" and the dealer had no problem getting them. I have a few extra bed cleats from my previous truck and my wife's Taco (she has a tonneau) so that seems like a nice option for some more lashing capability.

Tufskinz has all sorts of interior trim pieces in OE colors. I added the door inserts in TRD Red. You can get a piece for the center console.

I added some black trim pieces:
    • Black dog seat protector (perfect fit)
    • Black dog (this one isn't new)
    • Matte black steering wheel emblem overlay (these are getting hard to find)
    • Black vent ring overlays

Once you educate yourself it's really easy . Here a link to some great material. Read Every bit you can. I did to make sense of all this . https://4xshaft.com/pages/articles

I know didn't have enough air in my tires for my front end . My front of my truck is around 3100lbs and 35 psi wasn't enough. I started getting feathering of my treads , meaning the one tread block was more worn than the next . Causing abnormal tire vibrations. I'm running about 41psi in the front now and about 36psi in the rear tires . I bought a Klein angle finder from home Depot to find the degrees on the transfer case flange and the rear differential flange. The additional air pressure helped me out. I didn't have too much chatter at low speeds, it was more at hwy speeds. Higher over stock? Lift? I have a modified 6" lift. With my heavy front winch bumper and 12k winch , my lift did really lift the truck to much, which resulted with a bunch of down travel. For example if I jack up the front of my truck you can stack almost 3 adult heads at full droop in the front fender well. Many people say drop bracket lifts don't give you down travel at all , well technically they are wrong when you put all that extra weight in the front like I did lol. My rear leaf springs I made my own modded rear leaf pack . I did a 2.5" aal and a 1.5" aal with my stock springs . Is it rough riding? No not to me not at all. So I'm around 5ish inches in the front and 4 inches of lift in the rear . I like the way my suspension ended up . My truck rides to my likings so that's all that matters that I am happy. Can't guarantee the next guy will like it. I did recently at RAS suspension systems to my rear leaf pack . It's like a two for deal. Does what air bags do and also what traction bars would do . 20230323_181533.jpg
