Yes... This.... Every Tacoma release has been like this for me.

I hated them all ... For a few years... Then when I see them with a proper set of tires and tasteful upgrades they wind up growing on me..

I regularly throw in 200-300 lbs in the bed plus tow my boat, so I needed a beefy rear setup. ICON RXT (option 2) and 5125s. She used to squat so much all that weight in the bed and towing while stock. 5100s up front on position 4.

Thats right brah! Small lift compared to Yotas out here.

Mahalo brah. I grew up in the cold. I know how it is.

It was actually a lot easier than expected. I ordered a random bypass fuse on Amazon that has a simple on and off switch. I chose the fuse inside the cab that goes to the steering lock. With all the tech in these new trucks, choosing any random fuse will throw a error code that doesn’t let you start the truck.

Any concerns about ‘gripping’ rocks or obstacles when the skid is in action?

I would drive it in the mud.
I would drive it in the snow.
With a trailer I would tow
Up a hill while in 4Lo.

    Taco, Taco. Go, go, go.

KTJO rear grab handles installed for Christmas, ordered from Tacoma Lifestyle. Thanks TL for maintaining communication with me, KTJO isn't the quickest but they're the only game in town when it comes to these grab handles, and the quality is a 9 out if 10 so I waited patiently and eventually arrive they did.

my pop-n-lock has become quite temperamental of late, took it out, took it apart, cleaned, lubed the slides and jack-screw (used silicone spray on the internal parts), closed it up and put it back in - functions and feels like new - should be good for another couple of years!

sorry no pics, not too exciting tbh, came apart easily with screwdrivers, no specialty tools needed.
