Thanks. When I bought the truck, it needed a few things.
Torque converter shudder- Getting a transmission rebuilt. Should be ready in a week or so
Center Support Bearing- Replaced with OEM since i thought it was the shudder culprit(could have saved 50% lol)
Tailgate- Bought one 90% mint from guy who sold me Bed Mat
Bed Mat- Got one off of marketplace
    Tires- Still experimenting with sizes
Drivers tail light- Not TRD Pros just Amazon, but might spring for the TRD Pro front and backs
Stereo worked but touch not responsive- Bought a used one off Marketplace and dude said touchscreen worked. It did NOT!
Bed rail caps- Purchased MINT off market place.
    Gas door lid- Kinda
I also added some running boards and TRD Sport badges.

I have 3 other cars so Im being spread thin on $ but Im loving this Tacoma. In the process of selling 2 cars so that will help fund some things.

Purchased Toyota Certified, with Vijay bumpers, additional lights, and Falken Wildpeaks on Fuel rims. Prev owner apparently painted the grill.
I used my lunch break to 'fix' the latch on my factory tri-fold cover.

I also got a picture of the gear storage bins I said I would post 6 months ago - I'm very happy with the Rigid system. The ones up front are weather proof, passenger back drawer unit is not, but that bin has my cordless tools in it, and comes in and out as tasks require.

Fixed the passenger seat rattle this weekend. Been in a few Taco's and they all had this issue, so I thought I'd post up the fix in case it annoyed anyone else.

The main problem is Toyota used too big of convoluted tubing for the wiring that runs closest to the center console and even though the tube is secured well, the wire rattles inside the tube. The fix was to use a razor blade to slice the tubing off to remove it and then tesa tape the wiring to keep it protected. I also replaced the plastic tubing on a few other wires that I could force to make noise as well as applying some 3m molding tape on a few plug bases to keep them quiet. It's insane how much noise was generated from beneath that seat. This was a 10-minute fix and it's so much quieter in the cabin now. greatsuccess.borat.

Then I finally gave it a much-needed wash. The tires were starting to turn all ugly and brown, so I had to dress them. The truck looks so clean with them wet I might have to keep doing this.

Looks neat, but dont you think Toyota would've added them from the factory if it gave better fuel mileage?

    Not the OP

The silicone tube increases air flow and works even better with the TRD accelerator on the other side of the filter box but it does make a bit of additional noise. I notice improved acceleration, especially after getting a "tune".

I like it. It has the solar connectors pre-installed and has pre drilled holes. Plus a channel on the base for sealant. The brand is Trisinger from Amazon if you're interested.

I wouldnt argue that it might make it sound better, but using your butt dyno as evidence seems a bit inaccurate.
If Toyota couldve gotten better MPG by putting in a $200 hose I think they would. The regulatory credits they could've earned on one of the best selling models in their line-up would've been lucrative.
Also, the "tune" is the real reason you feel any acceleration gains.

The solar description says it weighs 27lbs but it seems a little heavier. Anyways, It opens like the solar is not even there. Im using 100lb struts. Im not sure what gfc uses, this is a custom build

The TRD accelerator is an OEM product.

Wanted a solution to transporting my wife's and my bikes to the bike trails in Upstate NY. No need to hook up our bike rack that uses our hitch...
    1000011133.jpg
Purchased a front bed rail (very handy to have), purchased two bike fork mounts, a little additional hardware, and done.

    1000011196.jpg

I use the bungee chords to make sure the fork stays in the holder.
Funny, my wife's bike is shorter so lot's of clearance between back tire and tailgate.
My bike on the other-hand? I think I have an inch to spare.

The throttle body is still the same size. You gain sound, not performance.
