It depends on why you want a lift. If it is for offroading, get the tires first and the lift after, better tires will help way more then lifting it and keeping the stock tires.

There's also a page for each of their wheels in the buy and sell wheels and tire section. Has a lot more photos than the website

But if I lift it.won't I than need larger tires to avoid it looking weird and too small. Honestly I won't be doing much off roading. I like the look of a lifted truck. And when I do go off road I'm under the idea that you need to have a lift for the purpose of fitting bigger tires, thus more ground clearance for frame and diff... or could I do just a 2 in leveling kit and try fitting the biggest tires without rubbing. Would that be considered a more capable off road truxk than it was stock? Anyone know what the biggest tire size I could fit on my tacoma with a soon to be installed 2 in level kit? Sry for all the questions. Thanks tho

Bummed I wasn't patient to begin with..they didn't have any available. Just the access cab. Either that or a 4 door model that was a manual transmission. But it was used

You don't need a lift to go offroading, nor do you need massive tires. With a 2" leveling kit you aren't going to be able to fit much bigger tires then the stock ones unless you are willing to do some trimming. There's more to being capable offroad then vehicle height and tire size, yes both can help but a cheap spacer lift can actually hinder your offroad capabilities.

There is a thread that has pictures of people with 265/70/r17 tires which are 1" bigger than stock that have a couple inch lift on them and I think they look great, plus you don't have to worry about rubbing.

    With a 2" leveling kit I fit 285/65/18 diameter measured to 32 1/4
That's a lot bigger than stock

And how much rubbing do you have? Can you stuff you wheels into the wheelwells with no rubbing at full lock?

Thanks. That sounds more my style. Not trying to go broke with this thing. Mainly want better tires and dif wheels. Might just get the level kit and through new set of wheels and tires on. You think even with better tires that are the same size as stock, would do better off road and in snow?

Yes, the stock tires are far from ideal.

Nice. Good I feel a bit relieved now lol. Stressing the suspension thing and weather to do that or tires first. Hahah. I'll just get the wheels and shit. And I can. Always buy new shocks n stuff for the stock height? Just for a better ride? Or is that pointless

Not pointless to get better shocks and keep stock height, depends on what you are wanting. You just need to figure out what you really want out of your truck, and do more research. No point rushing into it and spending money twice when you could have saved and gotten what you wanted/needed the first time.

Only rubbed the air dam just a hair when at full lock and on reverse
I buffed the side of the air dam a little bit
Maybe 1/8 and never rubbed again

    And you'll b fine .
That's what I did and the truck looks level and drives really good

2" leveling kit. In this picture I didn't have the 1/2" blocks in the rear yet
    So now sits better

Toyota isn't the only company that has issues with chipping windshields. Google it.
