I have a set of black ones delivering tomorrow. How big of an asswhip was the removal? I'm dreading it for some reason despite all the posts and instructions on this site. I guess everything is an extra nut-kick when it's 100° right now.

Quick little Sunday mod to clean up the wiring for my ditch & rock lights. I have a Rago Fabrication relay holder in route to finish it off. This is just a temporary solution until I can justify spending the coin on a Switchpro.

It was pretty hot and humid here today, which is why I waited till the later part of the day. Took me roughly 30 mikes to disassemble, toggling back and forth between TW threads to see where was what. The part that had me scratching my head was removing the center piece which is the largest, just took a bit more force than fineness. I have one coat of primer on the caps, then I noticed the moisture in the air, called it quits till tomorrow.

From the looks of his pictures this looks like a job for my local dealerships body shop. You have a link to where you bought your bumper covers @kennethalan ??

I bought them from RockAuto. They're a vendor here. They have a coupon code in their vendor forum...

    They were part numbers:
    TO1105133
    TO1104133
I'm assuming they'll be flat black. I kinda bought them blind. I did it based on what a few other members said here on a different thread(don't remember which one) and seemed happy. Here's hoping I will be as well.

Looks good, are you able to get to your fuses with it mounted to the lid?

Shouldn't be a problem but if it were it would be easy to remove the +/- real quick and pop the top off of the fuse box.

Just picked it up last weekend. Got the windows tinted and detailed it myself. By far my favorite toy!

Can't say I've ever been a big fan of my stock OR wheels. All I can see is a shiny aluminum cog gear when I see them. As painful as it may be, I'm trying to be a little more practical with my money and asking myself things like, "will buying new rims enhance my life?" I said yes, my wife said no, and then I re-evaluated and quickly decide no.

So I painted my stock wheels today. I know everyone has different tastes when it comes to wheels, but I think the original rims look a thousand times better and significantly different without the machined aluminum look.

I was really wanting the fn pro wheels so I'd have been getting new tires too when my existing ones are still serving my needs.

I used the dupli color bronze rattle can paint paint for wheels. P/N

    Thanks man!

I was going to do the exact same. Even same color. I found a set of Black FJ trail team wheels locally for a good price and sold stockers.
