What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

2.5” lift, Bilstein 8112s w/ Tot͏a͏l Chaos uppers. Had to do a LOT of cutting to get the tires to fit at that size and weel offset.

 

What did you cut on? Sorry for asking details. I can't see anything unprofessional in the photos. What were the logistics? Did you mount the wheels yourself or had the tires mounted on the wheels, came home and started the fit check and cutting?

Ordered a new grill (bird decided that my grill was a good place to die), some ditch lights and brackets and new yellow LED fog light bulbs.

 

Installed a front camera this past Saturday. No more pulling into parking spaces "blind".

Looks slick. How to? How do you switch to front camera? Where is the camera from?

 

Anybody done this to their headlights? I saw it at Liberty Toyota as part of their $12k “Spec 1” build.
Ridiculous markup aside, the headlights are actually perfectly tinted. I popped the hood and it’s doesn’t feel like a Lamin-X film. These guys can’t seem to answer the question either.
It’s on the headlights, fogs, taillights, and rear brake light.

I finally tracked down and tackled an “accessory” dude. He was pretty cocky but basically said they take your stuff for up to six days, break them open and spray paint the insides with a grey paint and clear coat. Then said it costs $1750 with LEDs replacing the halogen bulbs. Of course he got offended when I asked about toyota warranty on the headlights. The dealership might replace them but it pretty much torches the Toyota one.

definitely not worth it IMO. Better options at a much less price.

 

popped its cherry at Pismo Beach this past weekend Fox shocks and Camburg UCA worked great.

 

question.. for a 2018 do you think 265/70/17 will rub? i am trying to get some Falken wildpeak AT. original size is 265/65/17

Yeah I've been looking to tint my headlights! I noticed Laminx doesn't offer a kit, I'm assuming because of the weird shape of the light housings. That really leaves it to some sort of spray tint option which I'm in favor of. I'm going to check with some local wrap shops and see if they can do it, even if it's only the front surfaces.

Like the way you did your grille lights. Haven't seen it done that way yet.

 

They are pretty sweet. Built really well. I’m impressed. Sso OffRoad is very busy but they do stick to there lead times. I ordered mine on July 8th and received it a week and a half ago.

 

Went from manual heavy hood opening to the easy Redline method. Neighbor nice enough to lend some assistance.

I have NO problems with the lead times. I knew that going in. Let us know how the install goes.

 

Just put some Pro Tail Lights on my Cement Taco. BTW, I'm parting with my stock Tail Lights off my 2020 Tacoma Sport if anyone is interested.
