What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I have had that happen to me at the restaurant, bar, and sporting goods store. I came out and noticed those trucks.. HA! I wish I stayed in truck and wait for those drivers but I had to go.

I made a friend at the bar who has a Tacoma. We have same trim but different color. After I added mods on mine, I went to the restaurant and noticed he's there. I showed him and his friend around. He likes it. He leaves his truck as stock. His friend said my truck is badass.

A few days ago, I went to restaurant, I saw 6 Tacomas in the parking lot but not sitting each other. 3 3rd gen and 3 2nd gen.

 

Yep. Cops are weird. Haha. I got in "trouble" for saying Roger on the radio my first day as a cop many years ago. The sergeant couldn't come running fast enough to tell me "just say COPY or 10-4, we dont say Roger". Errr ok sir. Lol.

I used to get accosted for saying copy over the radio. "COPY is not proper RTP!!!!" stuck with me for 20 years, it must be hell for former military that transition to law enforcement.

My are has a ton of Tacoma’s! I never noticed till I got one, but when I had a 4th gen 4Runner I noticed all the 4th gens

 

Finally got rid of the nasty chrome bumper caps, Blacked out the nasty chrome steering wheel logo and put in the MESO TRD push to start button w/AJT Designs Trim ring.

 

At least you've still got those beautiful chromed tail lights going for 'ya.

When I had mustang, I noticed mustangs everyday on the road. I miss it. Blown engine. Gave it up and get other car and the finally I got 2007 Tacoma for awhile. It had very low miles. I traded it for this truck I have now. I should have kept 2007 Tacoma and use it as work truck. Oh well.

Speaking of windshields, I wonder why they can't have the electric defroster grid in them like the rear glass? Sure would be helpful!

They function like dimples on a golf ball so you can turn the steering wheel faster and truer.

How easy was installing the tailgate wrap. My dads truck has a ding from a shopping cart in the tailgate and this would do a great job at covering it and look good.
