Now, if someone would make a bsm compatible bumper with a swingout, I’d be a happy camper!

New owner of a 2017 4x4 Sr5. Installed the new grill but still have to wire the lights. Not bad for an offer up deal. Lift and tires going on ASAP!

Be patient, this is a mod that is well worth the wait! They are repeatedly sold out for a reason. You may want to give Brian @Jowett a shout out to get a heads up on when he thinks the next batch will be available.

Might try using some rubber feet that are used for chair legs. Cheap and sold per 4. Just a thought.

Edit: Late to the party on this one. o_O

You could also check seller out dangoodbuy on ebay to see if he has any vinyl tube caps that will fit that coupling. My goto guy for caps, plugs, grommets ect.

It's a MaxxHaul 70423 that I got from Amazon. Had to mod it a little to work around the OEM bed cover latches. Secured it to the accessory rails with Unistrut beam clamps from Home Depot. Will probably add bed stiffeners and a metal strap to them from the back of the rear rack mount as the accessory rails only grab one of the mounting points at the rear. I only throw it on a few times a year as needed but it's sure nice to have. For hauling these 16 footers I "borrowed" a couple 2x6x12 from Home Depot (borrowed as in they will be returned) to "extend" the carrying surface to support the length.

Yes it’s just bolts. Remove the front air dam and put bolts back in so you don’t misplace them. Takes about 2 minutes with a ratchet

Installed the CaliRaised bed stiffeners after @tonered recommended their design. Been wanting some for my truck as I've run a camper shell for almost 3 years. Install process was easy, and I did notice a little less bed shake over my gravel road after installing. A little concerned about rusting because apparently CaliRaised has a reputation for that. Fingers crossed but love them so far! It was also a good excuse to do a deep cleaning in the bed. I haul my dogs back there and can say that the amount fur and pawprints was unbelievable. Used a drill brush with some SimpleGreen.

Thanks Josh. Unfortunately ours is the ARB connector so I will need this more expensive part. Bit cold this morning when I have to air back up (currently @ 35 psi, run pavement @ 50/55)

Yes sir! My wife and I retired a bit early and for a couple of years planned to take our taco around the world. We’re currently waiting until the borders open up, hopefully this spring and we’ll ship it to Europe. but until then we’re poking around the west being driven south by winter.

We have several sites where we’re doing trip reports. At our web page at www.roguewanderers.com, on Instagram at 2roguewanderers, and at Tacomaworld at https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/taking-a-tacoma-around-the-world-need-advice.585792/page-47
