Anyone replace their e-locker actuator? Mine's no longer engaging and before giving a try at rebuilding/cleaning my current one I wanted to have a plan in case it's toast or I fuck it up even more (which is more likely haha). I found an AISIN one that looks promising and a heck of a lot cheaper than what I saw new Toyota ones going for.

I've been thumbing through the fsm and it looks pretty straight forward as long as I make sure the locking fork, gear, and button are all lined up and on the same page. Is there anything else I'm missing?

I haven’t replaced one with an aftermarket actuator, but I’ve rebuilt them with mixed success. Depending on how much water/mud intrusion you have, a rebuild might work or it might be too far gone.

For units that are totally screwed, I’ve installed a cable actuator like the one below with good success. Pricey, but probably comparable to a new electronic actuator.

I just installed the Aisin actuator on an elocker I bought at a junk yard. The original was toast and despite my best efforts I couldn't get it working reliably. The new one installed easily and works consistently.

It's pretty easy to change the 5pin taillights into 6pin. It just takes a little Jumper wire on each side I should have some pictures still from when I did this with the Anzo taillights.

I got banned without warning, was actually surprised, because I couldn't figure out why I was banned. Was lucky enough to contact another member who informed me of my transgression.

    Same.

I have friends I personally know on this forum so they reached out for me to find out why.

My "note" for having been banned was simply a "violation of rules". No actual answer as to why.

I waited out my timeout, and made an attempt to post my ad again. This time around I opened the box and took pics of everything inside. Only thing I didn't do was open up the semi-transparent bag as I figured my efforts were good enough.

    Banned again without warning :violent:

I've been looking at your pics. I'm assuming that this is a camper shell that you've insulated and covered the windows all around. Can you post a pic of the outside, just curious to see what it looks like.

I wasn't trying to be anti-political but if you read my previous comment I'm just mad about the hypocrisy of the moderator that banned me when he also had a political avatar. So why is it OK for moderators to have political avatars but us common folk are not allowed to. So yes I keep my mouth shut about politics now except for when I'm around real people who can actually have a conversation about it without throwing a cry baby fit.

And it would be nice if the moderators would at least message you and tell you what you did wrong.

    Don't ban me bro!

Its a high roof protops shell. Its a copy off of the ARE one or the LEER I forget but its the same. I got it with every option except the the carpet cus I insulated it and then I carpeted it.

That is indeed the oe part. Installing isn’t a big deal. Just make sure the rack for the locker in the diff is full over to disengaged

    You got a note?

I know what got me. And fine I’ll admit it was earned I guess. But no warning or reason why plus 30 days. Eek. Oh well.

Well not a note but you know when you initially log on after you get a ban, you get a notice or pop up saying whatever the mod decided to put in that notice.

I've never received a note, just a message that states I don't have permission to look at anything.

Because they say so, is it right, no comment. But I just decided to stop beating my head against an invisible wall, and keep certain opinions to myself.

So I replaced my IAC a few days ago now and this is what I’m idling at operating temp. I feel like it should have dropped to the 700 area by now?
