Went out wheeling yesterday and the front of my truck started squeeking so I pulled off one of my front tires today to find a torn CV boot and the sound was coming from the bushing on the bottom of the coil over or lack of:eek: It is this way on both sides after looking. Does anyone know if they sell replacement bushings for Donahoe Racing Coil overs? Also looks like upper and lower ball joints need replacing too:mad:

I just polished my headlights and it looks so much better, much like the picture above and im very happy with it. I also cleaned my K&N and used some Mothers Back to Black on my fenders and HOLY ____! I might like that more than WD40 and/or duct tape. I almost bought bushwakers cuz i hated the oxidized grey look so much. Pretty easy to do too. Very happy

Did a heck of alot of work on the truck today...Got the rear leafs out, had to cut the main bolts on the front and all 4 u bolts, the shackle bolts came out with a 5 foot pipe and impact wrench. 3 out of the 6 bolts on top of the coils had to be cut out, the rest took about 20 minutes each. Also painted all my wheels close to the stock color. What a weekend!

Tony...you're too hard on your truck. Didn't you replace a boot last summer too?

I like the color matched look of the 2nd gens...don't even think that was an option for us 1st-ies. Its just tough to decide - paint is so permanent! I could try to buy another grill and keep mine stock just in case....hmmmm....

Your rims looked horrible before! Was someone chewing on them? I've never seen rims that marked up before. They cleaned up nice though. Be sure to show us pics once you get them back on the truck too!

And yes, the dis-assembly process on the suspensions is a huge pain! That had to be the worst part of the whole job.

That's what i was thinking too! Just buy an extra grill and experiment on it.

2 big weekends in a row for me...

4th of July weekend I removed my Xenon flares and cut out some rust from my bed.

    DSC05029_6a440baa94bb9fa57bd8cd55ae2ea6cac7ed6295.jpg
    DSC05034_9ab992456c9c36aee4f507a74e1720b49eb1295d.jpg

I cut both sides and then treated both sides around the infected area with POR-15 to hopefully keep any more rust from coming back.

    DSC05050_ec611807d0f50ee965b7a6a5b675c008687ca6af.jpg

This weekend I spent friday night washing, then ALL DAY saturday claying, polishing & waxing for a smother-than-glass finish.
Also removed my rear wheels & painted my hubs & brake drums black, also freshened up my rear wheels with paint a bit.
