I run nokian winters on every vehicle i've owned. Are you refering to the studs when you say noisier? I usually don't run studs but these tires are no longer available without them. Can't have too much traction on ice i guess.

    I wasn't serious.

The point I was making is the added flex you have (because of the missing sway bar) is what is allowing the front wheel to get close. I'm betting you have to really work at it to get it that close. I don't think its a problem. Just be aware of the potential. You wont really know for sure whether you have a problem until you wheel it hard.

Flexing at the mall on a curb is not real world. :D

I've only had them with studs so I can't compare to them without. But compared to an A/T summer tire, they are obviously a lot louder. I have Mastercraft Coursers with studs on my taco and I know nothing about that brand. They seem OK, but when I need new ones I'll be going back to Nokians.

Sounds like a bearing to me also. Disconnect all of the belts and spin everything by hand. Everything should spin free and smooth.

Pull the EFI fuse or disconnect the Neg battery terminal for a few minutes. It clears the ECU of all the learned points. Kind of like rebooting it.
