I always wanted one of those. My best friend's dad had one, and I always loved going out in that thing. But he sold it without warning. :(

Yeah it's supposed to be in the 6:00 position. The coolant loss will vary but you should buy enough coolant to refill entirely, just in case. I pretty much had to use two gallons of coolant to refill after removing the lower hose from the thermostat housing. Once you remove the thermostat you'll see the jiggle valve on the t-stat. Instead of filling the reservoirs, pour directly into the radiator and burp the system by turning the truck on and squeezing the hoses to get any air out of the system. After that make sure the radiator is full and then check the reservoirs and make sure it's at the full mark

Stuff and things that make it better.
Re-did all the grounds on the truck, so I used the retuning of the CB antenna as an excuse to go for a drive.

Yesterday around noon I used JB weld + a fiber glass repair kit to "weld" my broken air box back together on my truck.. It's currently out of the truck curing, I was gonna put it back on this afternoon. However, I don't want to rush it and ruin the MAF before the epoxy cures. How long do y'all think I need to wait on it? Thoughts?

Mine didn't get to sit but 15 hours and it was fine. That JB weld cures a lot faster than you think. I did a write up on it and it's still working to date.

I'm more worried about the fiber glass than the JB weld. That's good to know though.
What I did was smear some JB weld all over where that duct with the maf attaches, squish the duct back onto the housing, let it sit for a minute until it started to set up just a little, JB welded the outside of the duct, let it sit for about 2 hours, then fiber glassed the outside of it. So technically the glass isn't on the inside where it would screw up the maf but still. Rather be safe than sorry

If you don't need it right now just let it sit till you do.

Why do people have to be such an ass, especially when your ordering from them?
